Wow, Leeds is a busy station. Nice variety of trains, and the very strange 158/150/142 combination. Great video as always mate.
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
Leeds is definitely one the better northern stations to go to if you want a good mixture of traffic, if you're lucky you can get a few freight trains pass through. There was supposed to be a GBRF 66 coming through but I think it got cancelled in the end.

Wow I have never seen a Northern acommodation of trains going at the same time it’s just very interesting and surprising. 😊😄

At this time of year East Midlands Trains 222 Meridians go to Scarborough from St Pancras via Sheffield, Wakefield, Leeds and York. I’ve heard TPE could extend their Newcastle-Liverpool services to Edinburgh meaning that even Dunbar will have some stopping TPE services. Northern Rail are still in their commuter debacle over cancelled, overcrowded and delayed services.
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
It would've been nice to have caught the EMT services running out of Leeds but I was happy to catch what I did, I haven't heard anything about TP extending their current services, but then with the introduction of the new trains they may implement a new timetabled service

Great video, just to say that the two ex GWR 153s that came in couldn’t be from Neville Hill because they would’ve come in from the other direction, unless they went the long way round.... lol. :)

Hi Tornado922 I was allowed to slam a door on a HST Class 43 at Reading and are you going start the GWR Mainline to or from London Paddington. Thanks.
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
Hello there, you are allowed to close the doors on the HST at any station. It actually helps in the departure of the trains because it means that the staff don't have to travel down the length of the train closing all the doors along it. I have started my GWML series and will be focusing on it for the remainder of the year until I have completed it. I have started in Cardiff and will finish at London Paddington
@breeze14726 жыл бұрын
the train at 11:04 what livery is that? i like
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
That would be the Scotrail livery
@jonhoughton3725 жыл бұрын
Actually, it would be the Northern/Metro livery.

Just before I watch (I never normally do this) that sign has been turned to it side for so damn long. I ain't been to Leeds since March 2017, and it wasn't straight then! It's a weird thing to bug me, but hey! I'm a little bit of a perfectionist. Anyway, time to keep watching lol
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
I love the fact that at all of the things at a station to pick up on you find fault in a sign that's been at an angle for a fair amount of time!! I think maybe when you go there you should turn it around just to cure your perfectionism ;)

The GWR 153s are running as northern rail. GWR dose not go to leeds in any sort of way
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
I know that GWR don't operate up in Leeds but what I was saying was the these two units were running down to St Phillips Marsh from here
@thewiltshiretrainspotter11526 жыл бұрын
I wonder why there were GWR 153s. Must be going to northern or on loan. When does your GWML service start?
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
From my understanding they were being transferred to northern to assist with the current lack of available stock. I have started my GWML series and the films will be up within he next few days

What is a “Casper”?
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
It's the name given to the plain 153 by enthusiasts
@jonhoughton3725 жыл бұрын
Its the name of a fictional character who is actually dead (Casper the Friendly Ghost) and is the nickname given to 153 305 because of its ghostly livery.

Class 153 horrible plain grey livery. At least the class 333s still have that nice red and blue livery. Hate those pacers.
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
The 333's do suit the red and blue livery rather nicely. I think they could've done something with the plain 153 unit but then again I don't know if they have it on hire or if it is staying with them.
