The fact that there were so many trains in this vid as well as plenty of yellow signals, slowdowns and delays explains how busy the mancunian section of the wcml is. No wonder they had to put manchester as part of hs2. Great work as always.

Longsight TMD does heavy maintenance on all of WMRs 323s. I believe this arrangement is to ensure that they are mechanically aligned so when they transfer to Northern, there are less issues. This particular unit had just finished being refurbished (hence the completely immaculate bogies)

The West Midlands Railway Class 323 will be transferred to Northern once the Class 730/0 3-Car units have entered service on the Cross-City Line later this year.

Levenshulme railway station is in Levenshulme, Manchester, England. The station is 3.1 miles south east of Manchester Piccadilly towards Stockport. Four tracks go through the station, with the centre tracks used by fast trains and the outer by stopping trains.
