Trains at Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal with BNSF AC4400CW's working on Metrolink 4/13/16

Here is a video I made of trains coming in and out of Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal (LA Union Station). This video also features a late Amtrak Southwest Chief, Amtrak's Veterans Unit #42, and the classic 4-8-4 steamer, ATSF 3751. This video is focused on the trains moving in and out of LAUPT. A video with the display trains will be in a separate video.

Read where the were using The AC 44000 BNSF now, after an accident with a vehicle. They do look more sturdy than Passenger enginez. Steam! How cool!👍👍😁😎 Subbed!

The AC4400’s were used in 2016. They were returned later that year. Right now all they’re using are F125’s, MP36’s, and the cabcars.

Only to find out that the Rotem cab cars are dangerous for engineers. But enjoy the BNSF power on the trains while it lasts, because I heard it's only until next year, the Rotem cab cars will be back in cab car service with their safety upgrades.

+Metra MP36 407 Some Rotems still led in the BNSF era, they were in service the entire time, just behind the BNSF. I think the BNSF era is suppose to last for 2 more weeks because Metrolink announced that they'll be done with BNSF by November 1 and that all the cabcars should be rebuilt. So October 28 is very likely the last time I'll be seeing BNSF on Metrolinks.

So I'm assuming it's the cab interior of the cab cars that will be rebuilt?

Metra MP36 407 I don't think the interior has changed. I don't know how they'll rebuild it, but I think it should have something to do with the cow catchers or maybe the weight. So I assume that they're replacing the cow catcher or put on more weight.
