The station you zoomed in on Kieran is Deansgate but if you go to the other side you see the big canopy and platforms 13 and 14 of Manchester piccadilly

How come they were running 156s instead of 319s on Manchester Airport-Liverpool? That route is electrified the whole way isn’t it?

Because of the route it goes, it goes via Warrington Central and round via Urmston. That is a diesel line I believe.
