Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. With the new timetable changes, most of the north transpennine routes now go via Manchester Victoria, so I thought popping over to film some of the action for an hour. Although there were more transpennine trains passing through, due to ongoing improvements at Liverpool Lime Street, services to and from there were terminating at Victoria. Also, Northern released a temporary timetable which axed several services around the North-west after weeks of delays and cancellations. Meanwhile, I was also there to capture the railtour that was being hauled by British Railways blue ‘Large Logo’ class 37’s. Those locomotives do make a fast exit when they departure from anywhere they go.
So as well as the British Railways blue 37’s, other trains include: Transpennine Express 185’s, Northern 142’s/150’s/153/158’s & 319 and GBRF 66747

One of the TPE trains, along with others, (Manchester Airport - Newcastle) now goes via Oxford Road, Victoria, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. I went on it today, it goes through brighouse, then joins the Huddersfield - Leeds line near Deighton, comes into 1 of the bay platforms at Huddersfield, Reverses, goes back through Deighton up to Dewsbury and Leeds.

ManchesterSpotter - that has to be due to engineering works between Huddersfield and Manchester.
