One thing is the old Eurostar has over the new Eurostar is that the old one made a very unique sound as it rushed past. And it doesn’t look like an are inflated balloon.

is the viaduct on an upwards incline or is it flat and the land on the other side is a downwards slope?

I believe the other side you see from our camera angle is slightly uphill, and the position I'm standing at is lower down. By how much I'm unsure.
