Trains at Sheffield, MML - 11/1/20

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Sheffield on the Midland Main Line where services are seen by Northern, East Midlands Railway, CrossCountry and Transpennine Express.
Sheffield was a fantastic station to re-visit. I have had countless amounts of bad luck at this station in terms of filming length as things happened that interfered with filming, the main one being last year when I got quite delayed after taking a diversionary route. Today however, Sheffield was amazing and had everything you'd want to see and more! The variety on show was just fantastic and the frequency of trains is enough to be able to get a shot of just about everything here. The trams also run above the station making for some good backdrop scenery! Overall, Sheffield was purely fantastic, I loved it here and would highly recommend this gem of a station.

So for question of the video, there's multiple ones, there's Blackpool, Manchester Victoria, Manchester Piccalilly and I believe Deansgate in the Manchester area, then there the trams in South London with connections to East Croydon, Nottingham is another city with tram connections, Edinburgh is on the list too, can't think of anymore. But a bit of other news on TPE, with the extended 6 carriage service on the Cleethorpes to Manchester run, only the front 3 are unlocked until it reaches Doncaster to when the back 3 are also unlocked, this is due to the short platform lengths between Cleethorpes and Doncaster on the STPL, also 144007 wasn't terminating at Gainsborough Central, it would have done the Saturday Sheffield to Cleethorpes via Worksop Gainsborough Central and Brigg as you recorded this on a Saturday, just thought I'd point it out but over all brilliant video
