This Station is nostalgic to me!! 1st rail station I've passed through!! Just a purely British Railway Station. Modern design works in cities but in small towns or in the countryside, this works.

Wow, that Pub owner must have taken quite the shite when he found that Bomb! He should have had it disarmed but left it as a prop for business, why not! I see what you mean by all original, but I see it as great preservation efforts. The fact she's on a Bend is a nice touch. I can see how it would have been mind-numbing to be there, but the action was solid. Now if the evening services are as frequent, the lighting effects might make this station a candidate. Long as you don't get eaten by the bugs! B.P.

When I was doing my research on this station I was amazed to read that there was a bomb in the pub!! Although I don't think I would want to go there for a pint if I knew that the owner had hung it up on the wall hahaha, the station is nice to sit in but when you're there trying to film the trains it does become very dull as there isn't anything to keep your attention, but having a station on a curve does make it all the more interesting. As for an evening film here I cold look into it but I wouldn't want to make any promises

Ballast and sleepers along here look very fresh Jarred, presume there has been some recent engineering work here?, thoroughly enjoyed watching, thumbs up from me as always

@@russouk agree to disagree. If you touched the third rail, all would is happen is that you would burn to death. If you touched an overhead wire, you would be zapped out of existence!! Although I agree more idiots would more likely coincidently go for the third rail as it is closer to the ground.

Breeze 147, I agree. Gives the railway an old style of elegance. Also love the shoe sounds the train makes when passing the Gap in the 3rd rail. I don't mind overhead as it makes some rail services look high tech and professional e.g Virgin Trains, LNWR and Abellio Greater Anglia. The only nitpick is that when the train passes the neutral section, the spark is strong enough make a sharp, intense popping sound which frightens me when I am in the pantograph coach of the train.
