Trains at Watford Junction 06/08/16

Brilliant Video! In just 3 years time the Metropolitan line underground is going to be extended to this station, and you can see that too! :) but why does the Bakerloo line no longer terminates at Watford Junction? And why didn't they once want to Extend the Northern line from Edgware to Bushey Heath not here to Watford Junction instead? So people also could change for national rail services?
