Im from St Helens Rick, but I have spent many hours on Wigan. We use to go there to see all the steam trains when l was a kid Brings back memories, mid to late 60s.👍

Gosh, a lot of memories you had of the glory days. The times as well when the diesles phased out the steamers sadly. An incredible era the railways were back then :-)
