Trains in Fullerton, California - October 2014

In October 2014 I spent some time along the tracks in Fullerton, California, during a week long vacation. This video features all the trains I saw in the several hours I was at the station. We'll see many BNSF freight trains, including intermodals to and from Los Angeles, plus a local with Santa Fe power and a caboose! We'll also see Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner trains, and a Metrolink commuter train as they make their stops in Fullerton.

Was all of this videotape in a "Quiet Zone"?

MrCsxtrain I don't think Fullerton is in a quiet zone. The nearest grade crossings to the station are a ways away, as most of the roads go under the tracks. While I was there I could hear trains sounding the horn for a crossing a ways off to the east.
