There are a couple of railroads that merely exist as a novelty I recommend, the Texas State Railroad going from Palestine to Rusk, and the Grapevine Vintage Railroad which you can see the depot of on the Texrail train at Grapevine-Main Street

What is the Frisco- Irving line? No such thing is planned. As to the HSR it most likely will never happen (sad to say).

@@rhntx never know. There’s not too many more places to build a Rail Line in the Dallas & Collin county sides of the metroplex, since space is running low. If it does happen it’ll likely be all funded by CCTA

@@KingAsa5 do you reside in the Metroplex? There is a reason it has taken DART a ‘century’ to launch the Silver Line. We live in our cars. Look @ Jerry World. If there was a need for a train it is there. But it will never happen.

Too bad DART did not do a fountain style feature in the downtown corridor (at least on the east end by the Arts District) similar to Downtown Houston.

It's sad that San Antonio's Via transit authority doesn't have light rail transportation and only Houston, Austin, and Dallas have light rail transportation that's really embarrassing.
