It was. I've lived here all my life and was in the station today going to and from Reading. How come the station was so quiet here? I just checked and the 9th June 1994 was a Thursday (today is also Thursday), so why are there so few people around?

Jesus, I just realised the class 466s were tested with the lightweight inner framed bogies, it was mentioned on the Internet somewhere before , this testing I think led up to the usage of these bogies in future. Perhaps class 365s ought to have used these to be lighter overall.

It looks to me that the 466 has non standard bogies. It must have been on a test run.

southeastern failways these were new at the time and were on test. those were prototype bogies

Can remember when the class 442s were under SWT traveled from to/from working many a time on one now there on Gatwick express duties and there being phased out for class 387s
