I really miss the Grand Trunk Western, my father was an engineer for the GT in Chicago for many years. It was a very sad time when they closed the Elsdon Yard back in the 80s.

Jmream2 Jmream it’s the international limited that ran between Chicago and Toronto. It was a joint venture by both Amtrak and via so it wasn’t uncommon to see via engines with Amtrak coaches.
