@3:40 - So that's where it went! I reside in Gonzales, LA and that caboose used to sit in front of our Parish Chamber of Commerce office. Within the last year, I noticed it disappeared and I fear it had been scrapped. So glad to see it still exists and will be restored. I hope you'll capture of footage of the finished restoration.

UP 9650 is a C44ACM. It was rebuilt at Ft Worth from a ex SP C44-9W. It just kept its engine number. Quite a few are out and about in the 9600, 9700, and 9800 series.

Hey bro, any chance you have access or could recommend any videos of the S'port/Bossier railroad days of the 70's or 80's? Interested in the days when, along with KCS, SP, ICG and MoPac were still very active here and had their respective yards in ops. Love your channel and your dedication to this area.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much access to any footage of the sort. Wish I did or else it would definitely be on the channel haha! There’s several videos of the area in the 90s but I haven’t seen much of the 70/80s.
