Today I get the trains running in the LEGO city! YESS! Not only do I work on the city ground line but I also add an amusement park line and build a raised track prototype! Hogwarts train running... Disney train running... plans for a raised line... YES! Huge things are about to happen in the LEGO city!

For the raised train, use a more detailed structure to make it resemble the L train in Chicago.

This will look solid! You could save the tiles because in real life, not all raised trains have a solid base. In the Bronx I could look up and see through the bottom

Really love the new train setup. For the raised train I think it would look good if it went near the zoo and have a station near it. Possibly another raised station near the tunnel entrance amusement park side. That way you would have a Outer city loop, inner city loop and then the loop for the amusement park. But im sure you will make it look good no matter route you end up taking.

You forgot Batman Begins!! 😁 Looking good, Choo Choo!! 😀 How about having trains running in opposite directions? And, it would be nice if you removed some parts from the modular platform coverings to open some of the arches along the tunnel. That would let some light in AND give your mini-passengers a view of their awesome city as they travel around it!! 🙂

I say you should use the trust piece on both sides of the track and then put a road plate on top of it and then put the train track on top of a road plate so it will be extra sturdy and it would look nice in my opinion.

Hey I was thinking about asking for a Lego coaster for the holidays. Witch would you recommend? Gotta be honest i feel that it’s blocking the downtown and pop culture street of the city so I wouldn’t do a raised line, also think how short the bowling building. But your building

Disney train line in amusement park is nice idea and be cool if you use a link/switch track piece so the Disney train can switch seamlessly onto city train if you wish to

New Shelf elevated train suggestion. The new shelf brackets above the amusement park maybe come down low enough that you could get really small brackets and a very skinny shelf to run a train through that area. Just an idea. We really enjoy watching you everyday.

It looks like there is quite a gap underneath the shelves next to the train track that is about as wide as a train track. If you would put both train tracks on a mils plate you could have it cover the gap giving you about half a base plate back to use the in amusement park.

Finally the trains are up and running! I really like the raised train track going threw the city. I think it'll add nice movement and detail to the city. And if you did decide to put the raised track threw the city, maybe you can add little train stations on the raised track if there is space like in New York.

Once you've integrated the amusement park train track into the base plates, like you've done with the city centre, I think this will actually open up a bit of breathing space. Its going to look slick I'm sure.

You could make a two story train station and put it against the raised plataform in the back of the city, so the raised train line would connect the downtown with the raised part.

Awesome changes!!! I think blending the Disney train track with the ground of the theme park like you did in the city centre would look so good!! Helps to make it seem more like a theme park tram system for seeing all the park and getting to other places quicker!!!

I'm surprised more things aren't a swappable Lithium Ion battery (similar to older cell phones) that we could charge via USB for more toys. For regular rechargables though.. I'd highly recommend rechargeable batteries made by Panasonic, I've tried others, but they don't seem to last as many charging cycles like the Panasonic ones do.

Hey! Nice work, if you do make the flat finished raised line it might block a lot of the view. What if you left the holes in the track empty but reinforced the underside with 1x plate or long 1x bricks?

I think if you wanted a raised train line you should have made the theme park train raised so it can go over the top of the other track by the walls and technically the train at all the Disney Parks iare an elevated track that looks down on the park so would be more authentic.

Couldn't u add a shelf on the lowest rung of ur new lego room shelf expansion (or lower the entire shelf system a smidge) and have the raised train track run along it? It would save u on parts and integrate nicely with the shelving area. The bottom shelf could also become a new section of the lego city just like the ninjago raised platform area.

Instead of having all the black beams you could have a suspension bridge. Having the supports at the top would look really good and won't block as much stuff down below. I know it would be blocking things up higher but I think it would look a way better with a nice designed structure.

I am a railway modeller so how about this. The raised section could go back and forth rather than in a loop. I think you have space next to the zoo to have a small raised station with steps down to the zoo.

I think the pillar base should be 4x4 studs instead of 2x2. Im afraid the elevated track might fall off if the train goes too fast.

I think you should raise the Disney train track giving you the opportunity to double up the train in the back and giving you the chance to build stairs to the train and slot games or parts of rides underneath.

Hey Bricksie for the raised train you can use your shelf brackets maybe the bottom slot and the train can be next to the wall you already have the brackets in place might as well use it or at least see if it'll work. I think with the raised trains, you're going to want to have less curves. I'm still not sure how you're going to do them, although I'm sure you'll figure it out! Once you have all of them running you should run the coasters, ferris wheel, etc in on video to have them all moving!

Like the setup but both trains pass from behind the amuesent park does not make sense and for the most part will be hidden by the amuesent park rides. Bring the trains in the city. Only leave the Disney train passing through the park.

I made my own beam s to put my train line s running on got few adjustments to do. As the green cargo train gard under the train was touching the train rails in few spots. But I'm Shaw the other train s will be okay. But I need new. Batteries yeep lol 🤩..I don't mind the black beam s but I rather have two and a 6 stud brick under the track from beam to beam 😊👍.than just one of them black beam s. ..train s running again. Wooooo whoooo 😊👌💪💪💪. Great to cee Jordan. I bean so bizzy doing other stuff but could be messing with my city every day. But. Just going with the flow and not trying to stress out about. Doing stuff in my city every day. Or I wouldent get any my other stuff done...I still got to send out one of the supper Mario Lego big fig stencil for you and another two I done one get more spray paint black and the cardboard sheet s.
