She lives next to a train station where trains make SOO much noise. A few kids, staying away from the darker side of teenage-hood, having some fun at the station whilst also being safe and not causing harm to themselves or other people. Give it a rest, Karen.

Imagine living next to a busy railway line and getting upset when a couple of kids squeal a bit. Get yourself some noise cancelling headphones Karen. Well done for staying calm and respectful when having to deal with that horrible lady.

Exactly, freight trains and speedy pendos pass by all the time, but when Trainspotters come, she has enough. And your welcome, it did kinda put us off after speaking, like we wanted to leave soo badly after that because of the threat of calling BTP but I'm pretty sure we would have been alright anyways.

3:41 complaining about noise while living next to a railway line makes sense
@JulianShagworthy Жыл бұрын
Don't second guess yourselves based on some of the comments below - the railway line was there LONG before the houses. They made their choice to live there, they probably paid a little under market value due to the proximity of the line, they have ZERO remit to complain about the noise. Yes, you may be inciting the drivers to tone, but I say it again, it's a railway - common sense dictates you wouldn't buy a house next to one and expect anything less than regular horn blasts, wheel resonance and air turbulence. A railway station (and line, for that matter) is a working area and it produces noise. While it's important to respect people, never fall into submission when they start a conversation off with, "you're causing a nuisance" or anything of that ilk. Keep up the great work!

I’m not that familiar with trains here in the U.K. myself, but back home in Ireland, we Irish have wonderful rail lines like Dublin Hueston via Athlone to Galway, Westport/Ballina, Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Tralee, Dublin Connolly to Belfast/Dundalk, Bray/Greystones/Arklow/Rosslare and Dublin Connolly to Sligo - our DART trains operate from Malahide via Dublin Connolly, Tara St & Pearse to Greystones, with a branch to Howth and we also have the LUAS trams around Dublin - there have been plans to build a high-speed rail line from Holyhead to Dublin (under the Irish Sea) but it’s always getting shelved, a big hassle for me when I’m going home to Ireland

I’ve lived in Manchester 21 years but I’ve got the SailRail when I go home to Ireland from Manchester Piccadilly (Platform 13) via Chester and Holyhead for the ferry to Dublin on Irish Ferries -I’d sooner go from Manchester Victoria, Liverpool Lime St/Liver Building and further along the River Liffey to the Custom House across the Irish Sea - getting into Dublin City Centre can be a pain though, as there is no DART or LUAS trams into Dublin from the Irish Ferries/Stena Terminals at North Wall (Dublin Port) even though it has been expanded to take cruise ships and the Port Tunnel and M50 is quite close by, as is the Dublin Docklands Station for the M3 Parkway line to Navan, but the freight lines don’t have access to Dublin Connolly or Hueston via Cabra/Liffey Junction or the Phoenix Park Tunnel

Can't believe some people. You just got a bit excited outside of a training so had to get over the other side of the bridge quick enough to catch it, and also ended up straying over the yellow line once or twice. Not exactly graffiting, throwing things or swearing is it? You didn't even trespass on the track Unless she's one of the rail authority employees she could just say something along the lines of 'you might want to think about being a bit more careful on the station' if it's the first time she's had to come down speak to you especially. She acted as if what what you doing was as bad as going straight up to someone and doing something wrong against them in person.
