Excited for 2025 to see everything opened again, love the museum and I'm so happy they have been able to get the money to refurbish the site as a whole

I am having a short break in York early in the New Year and hope to visit the museum, for the first time in many many years. I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that part of it is closed due to refurbishment. Reading the earlier comments for your video confirm this. I wonder how long it will be before it is 'back to normal' No doubt it will still be worth a visit, especially as it is free .. at least I think it is. I have been to London, Manchester and Liverpool in the past few months and every museum I visited was free.
