I loved Lille when I was there. I took a high-speed to Brussels, so this was interesting to see.

Lille looks awesome, would like to explore there at some point. I also love how you gave a nice shot of the architecture of the station which reminds me of Bordeaux when I was there. Great work!

I can imagine, although Bordeaux is really cool. I love the mural in the main hall of Bordeaux st. Jean railway station.

Ik heb 'n bloedhekel aan (overstappen in) Parijs, dat ik meestal niet via Brussel Zuid ga, maar Doornik (en Froyennes). Met 100% korting in België voor mij, ga ik meestal via Lille Flandres, en van daar rond Parijs naar het zuiden.

Ja dat is een prima manier. Ik heb zelf geen moeite met de overstap maar ik snap dat mensen de overstap in Parijs liever niet doen.

Adds an hour of travel time, but this is often cheaper than me taking the thalys from belgium to paris, unfortunately. I quite like lille, though so usually i stop for a few hours for a short city trip

I love to take a short city trip this way as well. However I saw these cities already a lot so for the journeys I did on this route in 2022, I just went quickly. Actually I went to Lille this spring for a city trip with my girlfriend, was really nice.
