This is the 16-measure pattern that Jaap Leegwater ( www.jaapleegwater.com ) taught back in the 1980s (and recently reviewed at a Folk Arts Center of New England online workshop). It's not the same tune he used when he taught it to us back then, but there are tons of suitable tunes for this basic dance.
