If someone is ok with LCD, G54 is absolutely crazy is priced near to 15k as an G40 Fusion user, seeing the 6000 mAh coming back feels great. Despite LCD+120hz till 55% and battery saver mode for later part, on YT and basic usage, I got 2.5+ days of standby with 14.5-16hrs of SOT, even after 2 years of usage. Also, overnight drainage is almost 0% at battery saver mode, noticed it 2-3 times when I had no option to charge overnight, still my G40 Fusion lasted overnight at 1% and didn't switch off.

The Moto G84 5G has a big problem. It's a sound. The outgoing volume is quite weak. Low sound power is on the speakers of the phone. Bluetooth and 3.5 jack also have Low sound. It doesn't matter how you connect any device it will play quietly. It doesn't matter via Bluetooth or a 3.5 jack you will need to turn them on almost to the maximum. Standard melodies play loudly. However, if you turn on something from KZbin or other apps, the volume is -50%. Most likely, the problem is software, but the problem has been around for six months. It seems that Motorola is not going to solve it. There are many negative reviews about this problem on the Internet and the Motorola support site.

And moto g84 even has dlna as well ( sharing "standard" video, image and audio files directly to / from other dlna enabled devices via WiFi ) - at least in my region (?) -, which has become a rarity in most other smartphones in recent years for some mysterious reason - especially in this price range. Even most of the very cheap smartphones used to have this very useful feature until a few years ago - so what on Earth happened there? Oh, and it has FM radio as well btw. 😉 PS Do you know by any chance, why so many smartphone manufacturers have been dropping the dlna service (protocol)recently on most of their models ( especially in the cheaper segment )? I do know that it's a very old standard (2003), but it actually works fine, if the files are fairly standard types ( (most) mp4, avi, flv, mp3, jpg, bmp ... ) Not all TVs, that you typically have access to, have Chromecast type devices built-in or attached either. And it's also very nice to be able to stream such media files from your Android smartphone to your PC or laptop monitor, tablet, Android box or projector etc. Is it to save money for some dlna certification license for each item of a model? And does this really mean then, that these non dlna-enabled smartphones can't use this very convenient dlna feature at all, or just that you have to install an app like the brilliant BubbleUpnp, which then contains a dlna protocol?

The G54 actually has a better processor for a much lower price - the antutu scores are also better. The main negatives are its lcd display with lower peak brightness and the chin at the bottom. If you want a slimmer phone with symmetric bezels & the brighter oled screen, you can select the G84. For those that value performance, the G54 offers better value for money.

Thats the point i had always been trying to convey people. Had been using different moto phones started from g31> g82> edge 20 fusion> edge 20 pro > edge 30> now finally on edge 30 ultra.. Havent faced a single bug of device shuttering or lagging even in heavy usage. Never faced green lines issue even when the issue was on peak...These youtubers dont use it as a daily driver so they dont know how flawless moto my ux works

I hope its not using the same batch of POLED display used in moto g82, as it will have green and pink lines on display right after the warranty period ( mine got in 14 months). Although they agreed to replace it for free, my phone is still in the service center for the past one month. I think no one should buy the phone whose display goes bad in 1 year, even if you keep the phone in immaculate condition (without dropping) or without software update. Also, the service center guys asked for money to replace the screen as it was out of warranty. I had to email motorola to get free replacement. So, if a person dont know about emailing the company (as the company doesnt have any call centre or toll free number), he would have paid the service center to replace the screen, as it is out of warranty. So, you sell the phone at lower rate(moto g82 Rs 23000) and make them pay for displays (Rs 8500) at a later date. Its the same strategy used by printer companies to make money as we cant get good replacement parts outside.

Moto g82 poled it has line on screen I think g84 also poled same problem will come so better not togo bro Check the g82 screen problem
