Great video, i applied the logic to my F1/Filters. also using the same logic above figured out how to turn On&Off the Fx1/2 buttons for my Remix Decks C/D using my X1 controller (while in Deck A/B mode) using the X1 Shift button as my modifier. very cool

Hi TM ,awesome video. I have been struggling to map the lower right toggle to search through tracks, then press return to folders, pressing again goes back into tracks? Could you help with that?

Thank you for the video. Is it possible to set up multiple modifiers (3 button press). For example: shift + loop in + loop out = reset (0) key adjust. EDIT: Realized it was better to map the reset to another button (shift + press move knob) Thanks again!

And all before I had a chance to reply! You can only use two modifiers in a single mapping - but you can set a third modifier as a result of two button presses and then do a test on that - but it's ugly and probably a little unnecessary. Glad you found another way!

Raditya G make sure the original knob now uses the modifier condition like M1 is 0 so that it is enabled only when the modifier button is not pressed.

I am stuck in the following two areas. 1. I have already overridden the factory map for Filter Knob 1 on the F1 remix deck to control the track deck filter instead. I don't need it to control one Remix Deck - I want the filter to control ALL filter decks at the same time. Now, I want that same filter knob to also control something else, via a shift key (using a modifier). For example, a flange rate. However, when I use my pad as a shift key and rotate the filter, both the track filter and flange rate change together! This only happens when I remap the filter knob's original function as a remix deck filter. If I leave the factory map alone for the filter knob, then set up a modifier via a shift key for that same knob to control another function, everything works fine. But I don't want the original factory map setting for the filter knob! I want to change the original factory map of the filter knob to a new function, then set a shift key modifier ON TOP OF THAT and control them independently. But when I move the filter knob while holding down the shift key, both flange rate and the track deck filter knobs move at the same time. Is there a work around for this? I have set it up so that when I press a certain pad it switches the flange effect ON and also acts as a modifier for the flange rate to be controlled by the filter knob. And that filter knob is controlling not only the flange rate, but also the parameter I reassigned it to which is track deck filter, even when I press the shift key. 2. I use a pad as a shift key, as you have already seen. However, I can only seem to assign pads on PAGE 1. I want to use PAGE 1 and 2 for my samples, and put my pad shift key on page 3, so I can access effects and so on when I press a pad. I hope this makes sense and I would be grateful for any help here! Cheers!

Johnny Massacre I'd strongly suggest you post this in the NI forums with some screenshots to confirm what you are saying. my quick replies would be 1. you meed to map the filter multiple times to get it to control multiple deck filters. 2. The "pages" of the F1 are a virtual concept and probably controlled by modifiers. you may need to set up a new modifier to define which page is active and then use thus as your second modifier condition in each mapping.

Cheers, I'll do that. Thanks so much for your speedy reply. Regarding 1. actually the problem is that the shift+filter knob controls the shift function and the non-shift function at the same time, despite me overriding the factory setting. I actually meant I simply remapped the filter knob to control the filter for one remix deck. And then I mapped a shift key function for that same knob to control the flange. However, when I shift+rotate the knob it controls both the filter and the flange. If I don't remap the original filter knob the shift+rotate knob works independently. But when I remap the filter knob, then put a shift function on that same knob for a different parameter, the knob controls both parameters even when I hold shift and also override factory map is on...
