They are not that good when you expect the new Siemens with AC, instead you get the old oven with back massage

Next time, if you have some time left, go to Hűvösvölgy or Kamaraerdő. Those branches offer picturesque views of the tram as well, albeit tram 41 does not run as frequently as the main ones.

Loved this video! Next time you visit Budapest don’t miss out on Móricz Zsigmund körtér and Széll Kálmán tér, two of the busiest tram hubs in the world. As mentioned in a previous comment, Kamaraerdő I don’t know, never been there but Hűvösvölgy is definitely worth a visit. It’s a scenic route and the stations are magnificent. And from there you can take the Children’s railway to Széchenyi hegy and the cogwheel tram into the city again. A big loop through the Buda hills and in total a very scenic route and you can even spot some deer here. I always do this trip with visitors from abroad.

Would you mind coming to Bucharest? Although the majority of the fleet is pretty old (excluding the delivery of 100 brand new trams from Astra Arad), it’s very diverse and you won’t regret it. 😁

Next time don't forget the line 60. :-) It's a cog wheel train from 1871. Now it is a part of the tram network. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Cog-wheel_Railway And metro line M1, which is tecnically a tram line undergound, originally built in 1896. The rolling stock is built by Ganz, from the same components that old "Ganz" trams used in tram line 2 and 47-49. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_Line_M1_(Budapest_Metro)
