Electric Skateboard Builder is it next year yet? 😂 Actually building my own, I've made the battery 12s6p, I have a dual vesc, and I plan on buying 2x 130 Kv 7000w motors 80mmX100mm, chain drive, that'll allow for 30% more torque transfer than belts, also having a higher tensile strength and just being more durable the chain will handle the amount of torque nicely.

Any updates or can you at least talk about your plans for this? I can't think of any good ways of mounting things due to the flex. A lot of other people here on youtube have done similar things but all are top mounted and don't look very nice at all.

Have you considered paying a bit more to source your parts locally? The lack of downtime in production would probably make you more profitable. ... Here in Canada a lot of producers are pulling out of China for this exact reason... Imagine if those differences weren't acceptable and you had to send them back? Another 5 month with no production... Might as well just close up shop.
