I remember wind storms in Seattle when I was a little girl. Big trees fell smashing cars on my street. The power was out for a couple days and my mom made us food she cooked in our fireplace. When the power came back on, it was late at night. Mom woke us up because she wanted us to eat a “ proper “ meal she cooked on the electric stove. I’m so glad everyone is safe despite the damage to the car. My dad staked down my swing set. Hope you have a wonderful new year!

What's crazy is that it all was staked down, we had extra long rods into the ground put the wind took them right out! haha😳 when our power goes out we cook on our wood stove! The Kidds talk about it all the time, I wonder if it will be a memory like you have one day❤️

Mickey Mouse the timing was really crazy with me being gone for over an hour and pulling in right when it was flying up the driveway. Thankful I was there, thankful the neighbors ok and thankful no ones hurt 🙌😘 God had me there in his perfect timing👌

Oh no, bless your heart! I soooo feel your pain! I am quite frequently in an "I told you so" mode with Jimmy. As a matter of fact I don't even bother to say it any more. All I have to do is give him that 'look' and he knows. LOL! So sorry about your car. I know that terrified the poor kids. Give a huge hug and kiss to Autumn for stepping up and being a big girl. What a sweetheart! Not only did she take care of the baby brothers but she freaking put the groceries away too! Give her a cookie!!! XOXO

This reminds me of the time we had a big wind storm and all of the townhouses ours included had our siding ripped off. The siding was flying around the neighborhood and our son was outside catching the siding so it wouldn't hit our brand new car! After a while we just had him come in, it just got way too dangerous! (our car was fine, never got hit)

I remember this like it was yesterday, i was in my apartment on the 3rd floor and we could hear the wind smashing against the side of our little apartment. We even had trees bending further than we have ever seen them and we honestly had thought we were gonners because the trees above my apartment we felt were close to their braking point but they all held up, my power went out for a few hours, Washington is a scary state only because BIG TREES and strongggg winds!!
