Hi its been a bit!
Today we are once again expanding the old city and adding a tram network!

As a dutchy really love the series! A tram system is also quite realistic for a dutch city of this size. In my opinion the city could use more unique buildings tho, some churches, theathers, old hospitals, schools or even a waag or market. I also think some more small squares would be nice, in old dutch cities there used to be squares for specific goods like fish, animals or other goods. Also reminants of an old city wall or fortifications would look amazing here. I'm not saying you should add all this because the city already looks good ;)

Absolutely loving this build, good to see a new episode! As someone studying Urban Planning (Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling) in Leeuwarden, it's always fun to see a CS build in the Dutch style. I look forward to seeing Wagenvoort expand, and I'm particularly interested in a university campus.

Insane, how beautiful and realistic you build! I‘m German, but I‘ve been to Utrecht few weeks ago. Alone the Canals sorrounding the inner parts and those lengthy blocks of Rowhousing threw me back to that wonderful city! Lots of Love from your neighbour ❤

Probably too late to include in your next video but I've been kinda missing those cool and exciting alleyways and/or those bicycle- and foot-only paths one sees in Delft quite a lot and also dotted around Utrecht sometimes. I'd love to see more of those in this nice city you've built. Rather fun project btw, really nice seeing a lot of aspects of dutch city-planning brought into cities skylines.

awesome! I still feel like due to the game mechanics an unnaturally large amount of cars (compared to cyclists) is spawned, have you tried using district policies such as old town (no car through-traffic) and 'encourage cycling'? that would look more realistic

another way to achieve this is having a main road going around the city as a ring road (not a highway just a throughroad) and removing the through-traffic road going through the middle (or at least make it very not car-friendly) so that is pushes cars outside of the center

Thanks! I have put encourage cycling but I will leave things like old town for later when the city is more developed, the road around the center will come but first i need the center itself to be done.
