I spent the summer of '83 in Kraków! Most of the trams were from before WWII. They jumped the tracks constantly and there was only one crane that could put them back onto the tracks. Thah was a fun summer!

XX wieku.

Thank you Tim for another very interesting video! I was struck by the large number of ex-Vienna E1 trams operating in 2016. I visited Vienna in October and was pleasantly surprised that there were still a few E1 trams in their home city, running on routes 26 and 30 north of the Danube.

Those DUEWAG trams are the most beautiful imho. It’s a pity that Krakow decided to replace them into new streamlined models. E.g in Vienna they modernized them, added low floor sections and use them successfully. They fit much better to old historical downtown than modern fancy streamlined ones.

I'm sure many things have changed and I'm afraid that they don't use the nice trams anymore at all! I don't hate the steamlined trams but only cuz they do variety! If there would be only those ugly modern trams it would be boring! For example in Wien the Felxity would be cool but only if he would drive regularly with the old trams but the old trams vanish and the ugly Felxity dihos style is still there!
