This is the first time I’ve heard this theory (keep in mind I’m Mexican with family who work for CMLL and in a server focussed on wrestling with 38 Japanese natives) and if anything him appearing at CMLL in a weeks time just consolidates he’s gonna be on forbidden door as he’s in the general area when compared to Japan. Next you’re gonna tell me you’re shocked Rocky and DOUKI were on Rampage as there’s no way they could make it to the CMLL event in time😂 unless you believe they’re walking from Canada to Mexico they’re gonna be in Mexico with three or four days to spare Plus AEW essentially said oh yeah it’s Naito last week. Who else from Japan has history with Jericho, isn’t booked for the card and is still actually active in NJPW? Apart from Naito you’re left with literally just EVIL who’s even had a match with Jericho, and no offence to EVIL, but no way in hell was it gonna be EVIL.

@@vripper2678 he doesn’t need to be ripped, but at his size he’s not believable as a main eventer. I am entertained by Darby’s matches, but I just can’t buy him competing with people much bigger than him, never mind winning. I wish wrestling would go back to using a loosely based weight class system like other combat sports use. Not necessarily as strict but something just to add a little credibility.

@@gmac673 The only thing about wrestling that is real is the footwork. Who gets the moves in first isn’t pre determined but the outcome is. Look at Darby’s footwork. It’s literally the best I’ve ever seen for a small guy it’s as good as Rey’s and Sabu’s. Darby has beaten Gunther, Keith Lee, Jeff Cobb, Wardlow, Brian Cage, Miro. Big guys legit btw. He can match up with Brock. It’s all about footwork. Darby has it. It’s not a small guy that slacks footwork. For example The Miz. The Miz slacks a LOT of footwork with all due respect. It wouldn’t be believable for him to beat a bigger man. A guy like Austin Theory same thing. Terrible footwork. A Dolph Ziggler terrible footwork. It’s important to know these things in wrestling. Footwork matters and the best ever is Brock at it. Everyone else follows. Darby is just as good in that department. Hence why AEW pushes Jungle Boy and Orange Cassidy. You think those guys are pushed for no reason? They’re believable because they’re consistently top 10 since 2019 in footwork win rate percentage.

@@vripper2678 that is a long post to say absolutely nothing. You can't argue with this level of delusion. For the record, Dolph Ziggler is a legit amateur wrestler and he was a good one at that. If he ever wanted to, he could stretch Darby Allin any way he liked in a shoot. Also Jungle Boy and Orange Cassidy are fucking terrible.
