God how beautiful, I miss the Nats so much!!! Thanks to scumbags in N.Y. I in 2016 lost everything and because of I had to sell MY GORGEOUS 86 TA my truck and trailer, my 86 ta was the one that had the 24k gold plated tunnelrammed small block. I LIVED FOR THE NATS ME AND DA GREEK. For 14 years The nats was my 2nd home in Aug. Outside of my mom and my dog no one or nothing got inbetween my 86 ta and the nats!! Pontiac F body for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you get an 80 or 81 avoid the turbo 301 engines because they are notorious for being total dogs

@@josemontano7767 I wouldn't know firsthand but all I've read since I can remember is that those turbo engines were poorly engineered and would often implode under acceleration and the car was really slow even for it's era even when it was working properly. Turbochargers were still very new at the time new technology they needed to work out the issues.. But that's factory maybe there's a way to modify them to be much better. I think the majority of people just straight swap it out for a completely different engine. They used a 1980 Turbo Trans Am in Smokey and the Bandit part 2 and the production company had to modify them with nitrous oxide to get any kind of decent performance for the film
