Hello Amigos. Many of you are wondering why I am republishing the Trans America Trail series. When I rebranded the channel a few weeks ago, one of the things that needed to be done with the new channel name and look was the republishing of the previous series such as the TAT. All the videos on this series have been rebranded and in many cases they also have been improved from their original. But don't worry, brand new content will still be published next week. Thanks for watching and Ride On Amigos!

Thanks for making these videos. My son and I ride off-road dirt bikes but you inspired a future father and son TAT adventure. He is only 17 so hopefully soon we can get a couple adventure bikes and do a few day ride and camp.

The TAT used to go over Tomichi Pass. I'm guess he switched to this route for people on bigger heavier bikes?

First let me say I just love your videos of the tat. What’s so nice is your commentary. Your just a kind gentle soul and that v CB ones through as you take us on the adventure with you. I plan on doing the tat next summer. I will be on a vstrom 650 of 1000. I’m very much leaning towards the 650 do to weight. Right now I’m going solo but I plan on getting a friend or two to ride in different spots on the tat. I have two bucket list rides to do this one and an florida keys to Alaska and back. I’m just so excited to get going. Have you done a pre trip vid on items you took? Now that it’s done what advise would you give to us rookie riders? I’m a little older but in good shape, retired military and home base is Montgomery, al. I’m going to ride a bounch of trails here to get my stamina up. Thank you so much amigos! Speedy from Montgomery! Please stay safe and god bless you and your families. See you out there! Maybe you might consider the Alaska ride with me. That would be so cool and awesome.

Hello Donald. Thank you for your kind comments. I really appreciate it. My first real ADV motorcycle was a 2014 Vstrom 650. To me, this bike gave me the confidence and appreciation to tackle harder terrains. It is also a very strong and capable bike, both on and off-road. You just need to add the necessary protections such as skid plates, hand guards, etc. And you will be ready to go around the world. Thanks again for your encouragement and I wish you the best on your new determination to travel on two wheels. Ride On Amigo!
