What a fun and picturesque ride, thanks for sharing. I don't mind the rocks, and I don't mind the mud, but both on the same section of trail? Much respect for your improving off-road skills. Can't wait for the next episode. (Also, my bad days on the bike are always caused by biting off more than I can chew during daylight. YMMV)

Looks like a great day…. I have a question, I see Ronnie’s bike has cast wheels and I was wondering how they held up on the BDR…??
@delrayparapilot2 жыл бұрын
The wheels held up just fine. The trails were more punishing on the front suspension of the vstrom, but even that lived up to the challenge.
@rayweeks10562 жыл бұрын
@@delrayparapilot Thanks for the reply. I have an F750GS with cast wheels and would like to do the local BDR, but was wondering if the wheels would hold up.

Does Ron have new soft luggage? It looks good. I'm a little partial to his v strom 650. I just sold mine with 61,000 trouble free miles and I enjoyed it very much.
@delrayparapilot2 жыл бұрын
Same Mosco Moto bags I’ve had but I opted to leave the top box behind on this trip because the mount for that is prone to failure when you punish it on rocky trails.

Absolutely. I use MAPS.ME for navigation. And the one on the left that shows my speed is an app call Speedometer. Thanks for watching 👍

@@delrayparapilot i’ll be parking my tractor trailer this year. I’m going off on a three month holiday. Going to do the tat. Then run north to Prudhoe bay Alaska. And then take back roads all the way down to Key West Florida. Stop off at Café 27. And then head home back up to Vero beach
