Charlie is so special. Such a great athlete and open sharing person. A true inspiration. I love Motorsport and have always cheered women in sport. I found myself facing transition too but later in life. She inspires deeply me and I hope some day to attend a race she is in and cheer her on. I very much enjoyed this interview.

It is very interested, to hear about the personal experiences of the trans people. In this case: Where she comes on a "dead end street", where she don´t know, how to go on, without transition ? It is soo similiar, like many others. I´m happy, that her career as a race driver still goes on. With all the support for her. I think, she is a very good race driver. So they don´t want to miss her. Whatever she is. And this is similar to other transpeople with their special talent. You must accept and respect their personality, so they go on with their talent.

When will that critical moment be that women start getting up there in Motorsports ? Hope i'm wrong about this,...but, i don't think it will be under the 45% mark for that to really start happening. Therefore Charlie is definitely needed as a role model for young girls to get into a seat and start competing at mid to high level motorsports.

Its hard to make it in racing period. The sad truth is money takes you much farther than talent. At least here in america. So i think racing is about natural talent, fitness, mental toughness, and last but not least confidence. I was going to say something nasty and shitty, but i cant. A racer with a dream is kindred spirit in my book. Plus she is pretty hot. There i said it! Get that top step at 24. 👍
