People who take steriods should have their own devision. People with dna advantages should have their own devision. People of different heights should have their own decision. Poeple of different ages should have their own devisions. People from different countries should fight against each other. People with different body fat percentages should have their own devion. ... I'm exaggerating, yes. But you hopefully get the point. There are tons of differeces between humans, but the only one everyone cares about is something they have a personal vendetta against for no reason. If you want to make it fair, then either do everything or nothing. Don't just cherry pick the things your ego has a problem with whilst ignoring everything else.

Hi Gay man here, sweety please stop projecting, your making the rest of the LGBT look bad by being in proxy to you, okay!? okay!!!~ First off there already is separate divisions for weight in many of these heavy contact sports, and steroids are illegal in almost all of them! You would know this if you did anything athletic after graduating highschool past taking a jog around your block once every 3 months. *The main issue isn't that they are trans!!! I see no men crying about competing against trans-men,* I wonder why!? The issue is muscle mass, bone density, & stamina! SHOCKING I KNOW!!! (You wanna act simple, you'll get treated simple hunty.) Openly gay for the past 14 years, practically my entire life, thanks for making me ashamed of my own sexuality in 2023, because I'm by default lumped in with hyper emotional, simple, protective people like you. 10/10

as a trans person, I appreciate your take on this. Combat sports gets complicated when you don't drug test, and when you allow trans athletes, or both. The awesome thing, your student won and has a great coach. In my opinion, she should absolutely be allowed to talk about her experience in a combat sport with a transgender athlete. THIS SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED! In my opinion, if you're going to compete as a trans athlete, you're outing YOURSELF. So if someone else talks about, you've put yourself out there. Great job on your student, and thank you for the respectful take on it. If the competitor said "good luck" in the proper spirit, cool, but if she said it as if "I know I'm going to win" then she knows she doing something sheisty.

As a man who has done physical sports my whole life I 200% oppose these athletes crossing teams like this. When I was in high school, I mostly played sports with men. But one day in recess a girl wanted to play along, playfully not for sports. I wasn’t really paying much attention and didn’t really think I was being aggressive. But then later she was crying because apparently I hurt her arm a lot when I pushed her to the side. It was this moment where I learnt how severely a physically fit man can hurt a girl if we’re not careful. Putting politics aside, I believe that if we keep allowing this to happen we are just putting people in danger. It’s stupid. It’s not fair, sports is supposed to be fair.

As a female black belt, I agree with you and your student 100%. Grappling is an extremely dangerous sport, and that is why there are rank, weight, and gender divisions. @@kimecosx obviously in a training environment everyone is encouraged to train with everyone. All body types and weights. I’m speaking specifically about competition. Especially with striking. Women do not have the muscular-skeletal structure to take a punch from a man. Anyone that has ever sparred should certainly be able to tell the difference between striking a woman and a dude the same size. If there is someone that disagrees that person is lying or they don’t know what they are talking about and are dangerous as a training partner. Competing is not street. Competition is agreeing to mock-combat that is bordered and restrained by an agreed upon rule set that generally makes things as objectively fair as possible. . This constrains against death. A biological man vs a biological woman is not. Congratulations to the girl above. But just as likely that dude could have simply scooped her up. Slammed her on the mat, injuring her and he himself getting DQd (IF that was part of rule set to begin with) and then what? You have an injured woman.

@@ccandtobychanging definitions of words is how language works that’s why scientific names are typically latin in origin, nobody speaks it, so the language won’t change “Lust” used to mean “love for anything but the church”, “Communism” used to mean “everyone’s a social equal” not “when government does things” Hell, ask 10 people what the word “agnostic” means and you’ll probably get 10 different definitions Even if you coin a term, or make up a new word, you don’t get to pick the definition You get to recommend one and people decide if it makes sense

Depends completely on a case by case basis. There are many trans athletes who either transitioned pre-puberty or have the correct levels and muscle mass to compete.

@@bicuriousdirtbikeboi2594 it they transition prepuberty that is different for sure. But that's almost never the case, sure we will be hearing about this more often now, also about the ethics of letting a child make such a choice. But you can see with your eyes that person developed as a man and you can't undo that.

NO. He should have stood up for her & said she isn't going to fight a dude. Had this gone differently, then what? Separation of gender in sports is for a reason.

@@SayMyNameAgain I agree separated leagues are necessary in most sports. They prob need to switch to separation of XX and XY chromosome 🙄😮‍💨 Istg, these people are so annoying trying to change the whole world just for such a small group, esp when the gay community was already being accepted and changes were happening. Big world-life changes do take time. And they're so disrespectful. They should be able to shout and force their way, but then get offended when the world won't eradicate or change everything at a drop of a hat just for them 💀 Of course you have the random women who join men's teams, like the field goal kicker playing football and the Nascar driver, but that's bc there aren't enough women to even make a team. But for this they do have a women's league, and I agree they should be separated.

@HeatherB2244 I 100% agree women should never attempt to fight a man..but that's not my point. This doesn't stop women from being attacked by men though, so why wouldn't we want someone to help women to defend themselves when they are alone.

@@Dascia2You're going to complain about the words someone uses? Did you hear her actually say that or did her coach claim that's what she said? You'd have no way of knowing. Besides, how dare you undermine a black woman's freedom of speech. Especially when it's a black woman who has to fight a white biological male. You should be ashamed. See? We can do the SJW circle jerk all day long. It's easy. Just pretend to be offended about one little thing and act superior about it. You lose this one. You're outnumbered and in the wrong.

@@TopG371 I humbly disagree. I’ve rolled for about 4 or 5 years now and have noticed that size can be a huge advantage, especially when the bigger person has technical knowledge as well. I’m about 6’4” and 200lbs and my training partner is 6’5” 230ish. We have about the same technical skill and he rag dolls me consistently even though he’s bulkier. Have you rolled much?

@@TopG371 careful now keep it civil. You sure you practice martial arts? It takes remarkably little to upset you. There are many facets to being a solid grappler. Big guys can move pretty darn fast and speed isn’t everything. Strength, technique, weight placement, footwork, flexibility, and versatility of positioning are all important.
