This was excellent! Classy, informative, and thoughtful, they sure don't make well-paced stuff like this anymore. Thank you for posting this gem!

It would be helpful to have some information on the director in the Description. There doesn't appear to be any info about Graham Parker on the internet, or on the NFB website. Surprised that the Description doesn't mention Christopher Plummer.

Great quality version of a fun film that I might have seen at an amphitheater while camping as a kid. Plummer's narration is great. But, today the film is less about Canada and more of a time capsule about the version of Canada that made this film. STRONG narrative about a bountiful, vast, young growing land. Harmony between the French and English. And, as far as I could tell, Indigenous people were never mentioned.

You think transexuals are inferior people? What a disgraceful thing to say.

This narrator sounds a lot like Orson Welles..........
