Hi Huck! Loved the video of the trail. Janis and I sure did enjoy spending time with you and Monica. Hope our paths cross and again soon. I just did Joshua Tree Porcupine wash to Monument mountain. Had to carry all our water which made the packs super heavy..But the night sky…….Totally worth it.

Little harbor is a really nice little camp ground. I love that you can order firewood and water to be dropped off. Same with Two Harbors. Great little places on the west beach. I've only been to the island on boats and I've camped at a lot of other coves that you would have a hard time hiking to. Some are impossible to hike to. Can't believe you didn't bring a fishing pole with you. I will do that hike. Maybe this Fall... Ya just don't want to be there when it's windy out of the west. East winds like Santa Anas are OK but out of the west sucks.

When we go back and do Parson's landing i'll bring a pole then. I'd love to some kayaking out there some time.

Loved your trip. That’s on my list. Looked like December was a great month to go. Loved the bonus whale at the end. I always appreciate all the information about the trail, camp spots and places to eat.

It's NOT! a trail, It's 90% Gravel, Dusty Dirt! Road, and Dozier fire lines! with "Conservancy" Gas Guzzling Trucks and SUV's flying by not slowing down and leaving dust trails for miles and miles and miles! Bike It if You must go. Parsons Always has water sources so the "Conservancy" Lies about that too!

Looked like a good time on Santa Catalina Island. That’s pretty awesome you got to see so many buffalo. Reminds me of the first time I went (last time Steve and I saw 0). Monica was smart bringing that umbrella. I need to do that next time. Was fun watching. Especially since I have been laid up all this year.

Most of my exploration of Catalina has been underwater. I've dived all around the island my favorite part the windward side. The coral is amazing and ate a scallop at 80ft
