I really wish that other countried would allow the use of ATVs and SXS's on-road (pavement/tarmac) as places in Europe has. It would make travel much less expensive and open up more oppourtunities, as we currently have to use trucks and trailers to transport our machines to the trails to ride.

TeT rider here. Most TeT is douable with a quad, BUT there are some areas you have to work arround. Tho if you have a winch on the front or the back even the tight spots can be winched trough in no time. Iv done TeT slovenia-italy-austria-italy-slovenia with a buddy who had a quad and i was on my DRZ400 (he rode a linhai 500 4x4). And we had no problem. Plus a big benefit of a quad is loads of carrie capacity and a winch if you ewer get stuck. Plus no hill or technical terrain is a battle tho you do go slower than with a motorbike. But you get to do it in comfort without sweating. I rode about 400km of TeT on my buddies quad and it was a blast. If i wasnt so much into bikes id take a quad on my round europe trip for shure.
