You have 2 new fans guys!!...The 6yr old asked "which one 'stacked it?' And the 10yr old asked "How many 'Subs' and what 'Merch' have they got?!"....They watched this vid from start to finish and loved it. Excellent watch 🙌

You're providing a great insight for those who are yet to explore any TET routes. Very looking forward to being equipped to do so, especially since I've come across your channel due my interest in the Honda CRF 250 / 300, L / Rally. Thanks for great content! :]

You guys are riding better & better. Remember to standup when riding in rocks, etc..and keep your momentum up. Good job.

So you rode down from Hawk's nest to Three Shires Head, then back out the same way? I was waiting for you to ride out of the other side back up to the A54 towards Wildboarclough. That's where I binned it on my KTM 790 twice. There are a series of large stop steps to get up and the approach to each is uneven.

One of your best that one, awesome trail and some lovely dronage. Reminds of last year with my mate Mick (who has commented on some of your videos) doing part of the TET Northumberland, him on his Rally, me on my Himalayan. It wasn’t pretty🤣 be good to revisit this year with the 300 Rally, I’m sure it’ll be a breeze especially now I’m all stickered up😉

@@lightweightadv fantastic though scary as it was the first time and we were full of luggage on the way to Scotland with lightweight KTMs brapping past us. Awesome trails and scenery though at the moment we ( especially me) are both novices having come off big bikes but the Rally ticks the boxes to do the miles and then hit the trails. Did some single track in Essex this week and then came back on 70 mph A road👍 Scotland again this year, can’t wait,

Superb vid guys as always! I’m so doing a camping trip to the peaks to do this!! Obviously your skills have improved over the last year or so but I’m assuming your bikes were pretty much stock first time out. Therefore, how much did the bike feel different with your new tyres and shocks etc. Another awesome vid go team “Lightweight Adventurers”.

Great video guys thanks! Mind if I ask a completely none bike related question and ask what camera you are using for the close ups at 10:38 ? Cheers!!

Another great video! I have been going through same learning curve on my L, luckily these bikes drop well don't they. Changed the stock tyres to Trackers with ultra heavy duty tubes and to a 42 tooth, which has made a difference. What's the lowest pressure you'd drop to? All the best guys.

Now you’re getting some experience under your wheels, see that gate behind you while your talking at the end? Come to the bridge down that trail, you’ll be doing well to go back up it… I can’t lol
@snifflytooth3 жыл бұрын
@@lightweightadv If you get the bridge on google maps and zoom out, you’ll see that it kinda joins up with where you came in from. I’ve only been there once, I got to the bridge down that gated track (very gnarly), messed about up/down the other side - keep left, the track leading right is illegal for us! We left up the track you came in on. Great vids 👍 keep it up. See ya out there, stay safe

Have you lads had any problems with your spokes discolouring or corroding as seems quality of metal doesn’t fare so good ?
@johnechall13 жыл бұрын
Mine discoloured on the rear pretty much straight away, but haven't got any worse after 6 months. The front still like new. Both were coated with ACF50.
@zeez90533 жыл бұрын
The Lightweight Adventurers hello there as bought bike from new tried to protect the shiny chrome looking spokes with wax as I try to coat most of the metal parts with various fluids as don’t leave bare metal to air if I can. Then noticed the wax wasn’t good enough as spokes got gradually less shines and then had dark grey blotches on them .so now I just coat them with thicker stuff Mainly engine oil .it attracts dirt but at least it’s stopping them reacting with air.i though if they had a higher chrome content they wouldn’t take that much care.Not to worry I could always respoke the wheel with higher quality ones if needed.Apparently Honda Africa twin had a recall on their spokes
