I rode a few of these trails a little while back on my XR400. Good to see other es enjoying them - the TET is a great way to see the British countryside.

Do you have a gpx of that route please? Great video, love the Dales
@Rupe3 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the GPX, but you can download the whole TET GPX from the Trans Euro Trail website - and it’ll be fully up to date/legal. We just made a figure of eight loop between Hawes and Reeth.

Brilliant. Quick one though. So I had a T7 and was wondering if you knew anything about the self drive model in this video? I’ve had a look online and can’t find anything about them…I thought driverless bikes were a ways off.
@Rupe2 жыл бұрын
Funnily enough that T7 is pretty heavily modified (although it does have a pretty talented rider - who also runs T7rally.com).

It’s a section of the TET (free GPX on the website). We started in Hawes and did a figure of 8 loop. It’s a great route.

We stayed at the Old Hall Cottage Campsite (Hardraw, Hawes) for a couple of nights and did a different loop each day. It worked pretty well.

I really really fancy doing this. How easy is the navigation? Did you use a phone, google maps or another app?
@Rupe3 жыл бұрын
We were using dedicated sat navs (Garmin Montana 610), but lots of people use their phone with an app (Guru Maps, OSMAnd, etc). It’s all pretty easy once you’ve got a GPX track to follow (you can get the latest TET track from the Trans Euro Trail website).
@snifflytooth3 жыл бұрын
Thanks 🙏 After I posted I read the other comments and saw that 🙄 I have and use a Tomtom on my road bike. I might get an old phone and get it set up on my Husky.

@Rupe3 жыл бұрын
This was a self-guided ride. If you Google Trans Euro Trail, you'll find the site that'll let you download the GPX track. Just put it on your phone/GPS and head for the hills...
