The society needs to hear our word out aloud specially when it comes to the LGBTQI community... Beautifully recited words... I hope someday I get a platform to present my words, till the the time my diary will be my friend, my solace.

I love all of this but ok my fav lines because i had to point out how well done this is and include how i felt: "These routine acts of violence, rendered invisible, that allow "family" to develop on the other side" Oh, wow! What a truth of generations wrapped all into one sentence. "There is no difference between ‘silence’ and ‘violence’. We inherit both from our men." "How we hate our men so much that sometimes we hate ourselves for them. Call it 'gender' for short." An absolute fucking truth. "I can look in the mirror and not see the man I grew up terrified of staring back." my heart. "Can I tell you what it means to wear an entire body as a wound" holy fuck. how beautifully written. "Turns into a man pointing, turns into HIS questions, turns into HIS disgust" ... :( fuck everyone. "Turns into gifting her man for her birthday" the story coming back around here is so genius. "It is the first time in my life that my worth is not created from all of the rage." Rightly so. I can't explain to you enough how much you deserve to feel accepted and I'm so sorry that you haven't. Thank you for sharing your light with the world. Not only the words were perfect, but the performance was amazing too.

@@anviksharaj5843 I think it means she/he is dressed the way the grandmother wanted to, on her birthday. But in the family photo she/he is not smiling, which is an act of resistance against the act of pretending someone they're not. (Which her/his grandmother did her entire life) I might be wrong, correct me in that case.

So there it goes, I too, will quickly put on a shirt and join the photograph, not smiling. This was so powerful that my even though I'm sitting, legs stretched- my knees still wobble. And the video has ended, I still hover over it because When you ended the performance, something yet ringed and it is still ringing. Such was the power in your performance.

What non sense. These people make this look like a big thing. Just live your life the way you want and stop begging for acceptance. If you can dress and behave the way you want then others can can judge you too, it goes both ways. Stop playing the victim card and blow this out of proportion. Your shit comes from privilege and not oppression. There are people who are going through real oppression, starvation, dying of hunger, war, famine, rape etc.

A good IT Consultant who grew up in a south indian village, studied in telugu medium, whose English is weak, but technically proficient than any of the US counterparts didnt get his appraisal and was forced to apologize and was placed under corrective action plan when he mistakenly misgendered a creature from US on Teams video meeting and this bloody creature made a big fuss about it, stopped working and demanded apology and action against him and stopped assigning projects, he lost his job, because a freak wanted more attention, it's recession in India, its hard to find a job. If I educate my peers and subordinates to stay away from these freaks then I'm just being careful and alert. It's better to avoid these creatures than to risk our jobs. These freaks go nuts when we misgender them by mistake, its a fucking mistake, because its confusing and inturn these freaks demand apology, memo, screw our jobs. Honestly, we don't even care what you claim that you are entitles to. Dont go near them, dont talk to them, dont talk about them, dont try to understand them, dont look at them, if you still need to talk to them because of work, then use their names and have a strict professional boundary. Thank you. This seems trite. I don't know how to be glad, thankful - to articulate the way your experience, so different from mine, illuminates my own. I had/have so many luxurious categories to live in - and/but I found the same violence/silence anyway. I don't know why I'm not allowed to share an experience with you. Ah, maybe I do. You are supposed to be 'the other' and then when I came to listen I hear a human more human than the people who taught me to otherise. I will go back and humanise them now, break the cycle.
