“Their parents became their first bullies”. That hit. Ebony hits every time. And speaking on God, one of her other poems says “You are what your mother is. Therefore God is a woman. Look at what the Lord had made.” *chills* Time to go ahead and buy her second book.

This hit so hard in so many different ways, but I especially like the quote "What is church if not a buisness preserved". Just one sentence reveals so much social commentary

That was more beautiful than any painting in the Louvre because she felt every word in her bones and it showed. If there is a God, they spoke through this angel’s mouth. Thank you so much for this.

1:48 "the intense relationship between David and Jonathan" Y'all. As a queer person who went to religious school- those two were not straight. When David is running away (from Jonathan's father, by the way) Jonathan kisses him goodbye. When Jonathan dies, David composes a whole song mourning him. He goes on about Jonathan's skill with a sword, his righteousness, his greatness. He curses the hill Jonathan died on to be empty and sad. Forever. And, the smoking gun, he says about Jonathan "Your love was more important to me than the love of women" (and David had a lot of wives, so that's saying something) They were not very straight is all I'm saying.

Question, if god made us to recreate and build and and I understand everything she said and I felt it till she said it’s okay to be gay, it’s a sin in my eyes and is not okay we females and me. Must create life and keep creating life(god army) how will he build the army he need if everyone just gay !? Btw ya I’m a girl who like girls but I like men to and I have kids and I hope my kids will create life and not waste the opportunity trying to be “gay” or be like others
@witchytaedragon Жыл бұрын
Ok, for one do you know how cult-ish saying you're building "god's army" by having kids? It just sounds.... wrong. Second....uhmm.... *everyone* isn't gay. Only a small part of the world-wide population is gay. And you say you're a girl who likes girls? But also men? Well, you're bi then. And no one "tries" to be gay, they just.... *are*
