as a huge horror fan ethel did something with preachers daughter i didn’t think was possible… i was just genuinely freaked out and scared over music… i love her sm she is so talented and i can’t wait to see what’s next

if you’re into being being scared from music i’d definitely recommend Lingua Ignota’s SINNER GET READY and CALIGULA. vibes are similar to Ptolemaea but more intense. TW for SA though with her work

I was hoping for a deeper reaction to such an intense, traumatic and artful masterpiece of a concept album. It is not just listening but hearing it lyrically as well.

So preachers daughter is a concept album by Hayden Silas anhedönia (Ethel Cain) which delves into her character (Ethel Cain) ‘s death and her relationships including her old boyfriends (not real people) Willoughby Tucker, Logan Phelps, and lastly Isaiah who appears in through-fare and would be the person so take her out of the world. Towards the end of the album to sun bleached flies she talks about her reminiscing on her past lovers and her family (inbred and golden age have nothing to do with the backstory but I’ve heard someone say they do)
