Just leaving this for the casual internet person, Aiden/Aidan is an Irish given name for men meaning "little flame" or something flame 🔥. For this reason, in Ireland and outside of the USA, you'll only find it on men but in America there is starting trend to use Aiden/Aidan for women. Famous Aiden/Aidans are the Irish actors Aiden Gillen (Littltefinger from Game of Thrones) and Aidan Turner (Poldark, Being Human).

About the wolf thing - myself and another trans guy I know can attest to this: the reason us trans guys are so likely at one point or another to be drawn to animals and animal alter egos is because 1) with canines especially the difference in appearance between the genders isn't as pronounced as with humans - a wolf/dog is a wolf/dog and that's it! and 2) if a kid doesn't know he's trans he may wanna escape his body by imagining being a different species altogether :)
@sethn52176 жыл бұрын
I would of thought it was because werewolfs transform from one body into another.

A big part of why I liked mermaids when I was little because of The Little Mermaid. What she goes through, how she wishes to identify, and the reaction from her father. I didn't understand all this at the time but as I started transitioning I realized that was why I loved the movie so much.

Yeah, I feel like this point should be as obvious as why trans people also tend to like: Mulan, He-Man, She-Ra, Transformers, Animorphs (Tobias is enby, prove me wrong) and other transformation related media. As far as the hereditary question, my grandmother got dementia shortly before I came out as trans. It is one of my greatest regrets that by the time I was ready to come out she was not capable of understanding so I have never been able to talk to her about it. Interestingly though, my mother has told me that, as the dementia has got worse, my grandmother has said several things that have suggested that she may have been transgender herself if it had been more understood and accepted back when she was younger, and that she may have felt a kinship with me in that way even though I was never able to come out to her. This is actually a large part of what has helped my mum to become more accepting of my transition actually. Anyway, this has made me think that there may be a hereditary factor in being transgender.

By default, Skyrim Lydia is not set to essential and will die and it can be very sad because she's accident-prone. She's also one of the first companions you can have if you're just following along with the plot. PC players can alter that, and I'm sure there's mods to change it for the other platforms.
