Awesome video! Brought back so many memories when I was there late July 2023. I watched this with the missus and had to keep pausing to tell her about the things like the icebergs, blackflies and Orchas I seen at the lighthouse. Glad you made it all the way to Old Fort the road past Blanc Sablon was a real pleasure once the fog lifted. Red Bay historic site was closed when I arrived so its nice to get a glimpse of what I missed out on.

Thanks so much! We must have just missed each other by a few days. The Red Bay historic site moved to a new building a few days after we were there so it probably looks a little different already. Cheers!

Memories of the jetboil incident came back to me when you said you smelled something 🙂. Beautiful drone footage !

Yeah, I was instantly worried about the exhaust side bag! 😂 Cheers!

I enjoy your videos. I rode the loop through Labrador in 2022 and you brought back lot of memories of the trip. I also rode the old train tracks in Cape Breton on my atv and want to get my CT125 down there for some riding. Keep up the good work!!
@506motoadv9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! It’s an amazing ride for sure. Also, the rail trail through Cape Breton is one of my favourite rides and the CT125 would be perfect for it. Cheers!

you here the expression a lot....but...you guys did reach the end of the road....😂😂
@506motoadv9 ай бұрын
Yep. And that 60km section of road between Blanc Sablon and Old Fort is amazing. I actually apologized to my brother because I felt that the Cabot Trail, which he had never done, would be anticlimactic after that and the west coast of Newfoundland. Cheers!

Getting home is always another mission of concern isn't it. But primary mission accomplished!! That feeling is incredible. Well done to you both.

Our very technical solution to the chain and sprocket issue was to douse the chain in WD40 every morning and night…… while ignoring the horrible noises it was making and hoping for the best. 😂

Another great video. Hoping to do the other 'slightly longer' part of the 138 this Summer, hopefully it's as good as the short bit that you guys did!

Thanks so much! I plan on doing the other end of the 138 someday as well. Cheers!

Excellent new video. Best Labrador adventure video series. I love that you do it on reasonably priced, mid sized bikes that the average guy could afford. Bonus to see the GMC Motorhome traveling the roads in Labrador. I hope to do this trip in 2024.

Beautiful. We saw that iceberg too and loved the ride out to the lighthouse. Well done.
@506motoadv9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! With it being so late in the season I wasn't holding out much hope of actually seeing any icebergs on this trip but we actually got to see a few more in the St. Anthony area. Cheers!

Great vid thanks for sharing, Never known a KLR to have that much torque to eat a sprocket 😀Or atleast mine don't
@506motoadv9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! Torque no......but when a few links in your chain seize up it's like taking a hammer to the sprockets! Our solution was to just ignore it and hope for the best. Hahaha! Cheers!

Sad to see you got to “enjoy” the burning of the local dump in Blanc Sablon. But it is an absolutely beautiful drive up the 138 to Old Fort.

Wow, what a beautiful day for more amazing sceneries, lucky! Such beauty along the coast. Nice drone shot of the iceberg. A few years back we drove through ‘iceberg alley’, north of St.John’s on the last week of June. It was outstanding, highly recommend. Love this series, great work editing, super fun to watch. Cheers, and thanks for sharing!
@506motoadv8 ай бұрын
The south coast of Labrador was amazing. That iceberg was out quite a way. I was worried the my drone might die as it was fighting the wind pretty bad. I got as close as I dared. We did see some more bergs the following day but they weren’t as big as this one. I wasn’t actually expecting to see any in August. Cheers!
