This was on the radio the last time I saw my father alive. Christmas...It was night time, and snowing hard. A street lamp lit up his car warming up. Something told me to hug him twice before we headed home that night. He died three weeks later. I always have to pull over when driving late November .....when it comes into rotation on the airwaves- Can't see thru my tears to drive. This happened twenty years ago , but still hits me hard every year. Yet, I love this song. It is Beautiful. Strange how a song can mean one thing to one person, and something polar opposite for another.

We have had a turbulent road since then, but our boy has given us so many signs that he is watching us always. And he gave us the gift of his new baby brother Theodore Felix Sugrue, who was born 11/10/24 and is do doing great so far. His guardian angel brother is watching over him, and we are so thankful and thrilled to have Teddy in our lives. Thank you for your kindness, and thank you Felix❤️

My hope and prayer is that she knew, and you know, the God in Heaven, that created each of us, && His Son, Jesus Christ, who was & is, the promised Messiah and Savior of mankind. If you don’t, just ask him to reveal himself, and then find a good Bible believing church. Meanwhile, hang in there, find others who have lost their spouse ( empathetic friends ), and don’t ignore your grief. Crying is Gods gift to us, allowing us to process out our grief, pain, and loss. Please forgive me for this long reply! I just deeply understand your pain. Music is also a gift. Absorb the beauty of it deeply. And I will pray that you will still have a Merry Christmas!

For those who were wondering, who the two people in the audience were, let me explain: The young girl ran away from her home just before Christmas when the older guy found her and showed her this TSO show. His intentions were to show her the meaning of Christmas. At the end of the concert, she realized the meaning, and went home on Christmas day. This story, and several TSO music videos (including this one,) were on a Christmas TV special called The Ghosts of Christmas Eve several years back. Me and my siblings watch it twice every year.
