Why can't we tell our kids it's ok to be you, whatever that means. A feminine man or a masculine woman could be just that.

But that's the thing... Being lesbian and gay WAS widely accepted in the Western world... until recently. I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't as accepted and I've seen the shift happen in real time. Why is it that now, there's this idea that it's so "bad" to be gay, it's "better" to transition to the opposite gender? IMHO, it isn't society at large that's changed. It has to have started with Gen-Z because Boomers, Gen-X and (as far as I'm aware) Millennials, were totally on board with the LGBT community. So, why did it change so drastically? It's as if being a Tomboy or an effeminate male, have become completely taboo, when both personality types have existed since... forever? And I can't imagine that this new problem with being gay started with Gen-Zers themselves, so there must be an outside influence that began pushing this shift in what's acceptable and what isn't. It's very odd and frankly, you can actually see that there's some kind of social contagion aspect to it because something like 40% of all middle school and high school aged kids are now identifying as a part of the "queer community". I don't have the statistics in front of me, but I'm relatively sure that's got to be a 45-50% increase, just in the last 5-ish years. There's no way that a jump like that is organic. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Because the people attempting to convince the world that fat is beautiful + should be accepted doesn’t actually believe the nonsense they spew! They’re evil and destruction is their goal! That is why their beliefs are contradicted by all their other beliefs. It’s a giant circle jerk of nonsense.

I just watched you on that Jubilee episode, and want to thank you for holding you own there. So many of us older Lesbians feel like we are getting steamrolled by all these new wannabes that have, for lack of a better term "invaded" Lesbianism over the last 10 years. I'm 64 years old, and I had to fight for the rights we now enjoy. And now I'm being told by some 20 something that I don't know what a real Lesbian is? Honey I did 32 years in the Army, back when being caught, meant an Article 15 and getting kicked out, and losing all your benefits, so don't tell me I don't know what a real Lesbian is. I've lived it, and fought for it, your just reaping the benefits of the hard work of folks like me. Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox. You have every right to be on your soapbox. We have a bunch of a-holes inviting themselves into marginalized groups so they can also self-marginalize themselves. Ridiculous. And then they have the damned nerve to try shoving out or silencing the people who belong to those groups. I'm not part of any of those groups and I don't invite myself to them. And they shouldn't, either. Especially men claiming to be women just because they decided to be.(not legitimately trans people, I think you know who I'm talking about) I love how the rights of fakes have somehow overtaken the rights of women and gay people in general.

I do body modifications, tattoos and piercings at my shop in Florida. I just had 3 different 15-17 year old boys ask me if I could modify their genitalia to fit more of an androgynous or intersex look. One of them even had his MOM WITH HIM. They claimed to be trans Non Binary other than the youngest one claiming to be a female. I of course refused to do the procedure due to age and morality, I explained the risks and dangers of not going to a doctor for Genital body modification. A few days later I was hit up by the other Body Mod professional within an hour drive of me eland was told one of the boys went to him trying to get it done too. This mental illness is causing SO MUCH trauma.

@madelinewise8692
@madelinewise8692 Ай бұрын
Money is definitely part of it - doctors and clinics have been raking it in with HRT and surgeries. But I've since learned that psychotherapists are not allowed to question their clients anymore regarding gender identity because it's now deemed a human rights violation because the therapist isn't 'accepting' someone's self-declared identity and can be accused of trying to pressure them out of it. Therapists have been censored and therefore, can't do their job of helping their clients properly. When someone comes in questioning their sexuality most therapists now send them to gender clinics to avoid the entire scenario, with the notion they were being "helped" at the gender clinics themselves. We now know that was far from reality - they were just being fast-tracked and medicalized on the road to HRT, puberty-blockers and surgeries. Jordan Peterson is one of the most vocal Canadian psychotherapists out there who rejected this ideology and therefore vilified, threatened and fired for non-compliance to these new rules. Recently, the Supreme Court of Canada - 5 out of 9 judges are women - sided with his university, where, as a professor, he refused to pretend that someone was a plural entity or the opposite sex to who they actually were. He was ordered to pay restitution and attend "re-education" seminars to learn what a man and a woman really is if he didn't want his license revoked. We are living in one of the most bizarre, upside-down times in history.

I am a lesbain. I was a tomboy as a child-teenage years. I liked boys clothes and boys toys and I played with the boys. I like boys clothes because they were more comfortable. I liked boys toys because I thought they were cooler than girls toys. and I played with boys because I didn't really get along with other girls because we had no common interests. But as I got older I slowly began to become more and more feminine and started to wear both boys and girls clothing at first, then eventually I started to wear girls clothing more often than boys. But still do this day I'll wear men's clothes on occasion mainly at home because they're more comfortable. But at no point did I ever think I was a boy, nor wanted to be a boy. As adults we do get sick and need a pill or three for some chronic illness. But starting 12 year olds on several pills that they'll need for life , several surgeries that will need correcting in the future and more. That's big money. AFAIK The kids they transition will need blocker pills, hormone pills, psych meds to deal with the mental health side effects. On average, the kid will be taking 5 pills at best. 7 to 8 if they start developing problems with their thyroid gland, liver, kidneys and gastrointestinal

I feel the whole "bottom surgery" thing is all mutilation and experimental surgery, even if you do it as an adult. Surgically turning a penis into a vagina or a vulva into a penis makes about as much sense as a doctor saying they can an ear into a nose or vice versa. No matter how much the doctor can make your ear look like a nose, you will never be able to smell out of it, the tissues are still going to produce ear wax, and you will not be able to place feeding tube through the new nose on the side of your head, and on top of it you may come out of it with partial or complete hearing loss.

It reminds me in some ways of ostomy surgeries. An ostomy is a very unnatural way of being, it used to be experimental surgery too. @@non_ideological_transexual7414 they literally are not any more different than using the outer skin of a penis to make the canal of a vagina! Ears and noses are make of soft cartilage and two different types of skin (the outer skin and inner membranes). The outside skin of a penis is wildly different than the membrane inside a vagina. The head of a penis (the glans) is similar to a clitoris but that's where it ends. A study that I will link if I can find it again showed that trans women are prone to infection and foul odor in their canal because it has completely different bacteria than an actual vagina and is not self cleaning. Digging a tunnel inside someone that needs to be dilated at minimum once a week for the rest of their lives and douched regularly is a mutilation.

The medical professionals know how very dangerous this it. At 27 I was diagnosed with endometriosis after a decade of unbearable pain. During those years I begged for a hysterectomy. When they told me I had endometriosis they also told me I would never be able to have children. I said great..lets roll me in for a hysterectomy. That would take until I was 35. Due to the scar tissue and cysts, they could not tell the condition of my overies so they could not be sure I could have a partial hysterectomy. If you have a full hysterectomy before menopause you have to undergo hormone replacement therapy. That puts you at a greater risk for cancer especially breast cancer. So if this could case major concerns for me as an adult woman. You know it will case major problems for a child.

You go in and you tell the doctor what you want. You have to use a certain vernacular but if you're not familiar with it the greedy doctors are more than happy to guide you in the right direction. Then they get to recommend you to their friends, the plastic surgeons, who we know have never really had any moral compass to begin with. And just like how the pain clinics ruined lives by getting people who weren't educated strung out these gender clinics will ruin lives. Except this time they're playing with your hormones and the effects are even more severe. Nothing will stop it until the lawsuits outweigh the money they get from prescriptions.

I was molested by another boy- it’s led to an inability to handle much social interaction. weirdly enough though, it also led to a need for approval that had me develop a great sense of humor and personality. It’s weird, I hate being around people because it’s mentally exhausting, but people love being around me and gravitate to me quickly. I feel awful for people that had worse molestation experiences than me. Mine only happened twice, and it was bizarre in retrospect. A boy one year older than me, and much stronger, and the babysitter was downstairs. I still don’t understand the dynamic that happened there. Ultimately, it didn’t destroy me- I have moderate to severe depression and anxiety. But I have a good life with a home, wife, dogs, great job. The problem I have with any group is when they want special privileges because they see themselves as "put upon" and therefore have the right use that as an excuse to shove their ideology down your throat!

This is the #1 recurrent theme in ALL videos of detransitioners, the belief that transition is a magical cure-all. First it's the idea that social transition will fix things, then people become fixated on hormones, then on surgery... and once that's over and done with, and they realize they still have issues... So many detransitioners turn to religion, which tells them that transition is bad, and they detransition. It's the same story over and over and over again.

More than 40 years ago I read an article on one of my dad's medical journals. This involves transsexualism. First it would be two years of talk therapy just to find out why the adult only felt that way. Then there would be two years as living at the opposite sex but you would still have to use the correct washrooms based on your biological sex. If you still wanted to go through the transition then they would begin the irreversible procedures which involved in hormones and or surgery

As a mental health professional. I always question mental health of those who self ID or identify as trans. It is difficult because they are often stuck in their own affirming world that when they see me it is hard to get through cause, they are looking for me to continue the affirming not question. So any push back or questioning will often cause them not to come back to me. I do it anyway because it is my job to ensure the success of the person trans or not. They don't see me as wanting to help though. So sad and so tough.

It's a tough time for your profession. Here in Canada the new laws are (as I understand) basically that push-back/questioning is "conversion therapy" and only "affirmation" is allowed. If you asked me, I would say that these crude attempts at trying to change people's sex are conversion therapy and trying to help people accept their bodies or sexual orientation is affirmation, but we live in a strange world... But even in jurisdictions where the law allows push back/questioning, the current culture in the LGBT community means that even if you require more therapy before going through with medical procedures, your kind of therapy is not what they will seek out. And I think a lot of the institutions governing mental health, and colleges training new professionals, are pretty oriented towards affirming rather than questioning as well?

I’ve noticed that the majority of those transing w/out the corresponding diagnosis, have sexual trauma in their past. Especially those who are actually on the gay spectrum & were sexually abused by a same gender/same sex predator. Which is one cause for the internalized homophobia. Girls are a bit different. As a straight female survivor of sexual abuse myself, I remember as a young child, so simplistic in my naïveté, thinking that if I had a different body, then my abusers wouldn’t want to touch me. Puberty brings more physical attention & often internalized misogyny or even disgust for their female biology, their blossoming womanhood that’s perceived as a threat to their happiness. This is a common reaction. Only now, these young girls are being told to become the gender of their attackers/predators rather than getting the help they need as trauma/sexual abuse survivors. We focus a lot on the transing away of gays, but I guarantee you that over the next decade we’re gonna see a high percentage of detrans, post op suicides, lawsuits, violent crimes against perceived enablers; coming from trans men/straight bio females who were NEVER trans nor ever gay.

Rejection sucks. It's probably among some of the worst feelings one can have. Unfortunately it's one of those things we just have to live with because forcing people to date anyone they aren't attracted to is pretty much just coercive rape. I'd rather be rejected than raped. Therefore straight men have every right to reject trans women, lesbian women have every right to reject trans women, and vice versa. Being rejected, as long as it's done respectfully, isn't oppression, it isn't bigotry. People get rejected for all kinds of reasons, being trans doesn't exempt you from that.

Maybe one practical reason that they rarely recommend talk therapy anymore is that, with the current huge increase in gender-dysphoria diagnoses, there simply aren't enough trained, experienced therapists to work with everyone. Or would a more supportive family unit made a difference in the way they would’ve had someone to talk to, that by default they should be able to trust, before being thrown to the medical and scientific wolves, who advocate only one irreversible way to ‘deal with’ certain conditions and feelings.

Personal experience with both family and former social aquaintence. From what I've seen, the folks who Transition often initiate the majority of the problems they profess to deal with. The folks I know were never chastized or ridiculed. One female who did this in her 20's and a man who did such in his 50's. Different folks, different friends and family, different coast, went through this process nearly two decades apart. Both alienated friends and family, both misled folks with regard to what was going on in their life. Then, following their transition, both expected everyone to maintain business as usual, but with a whole new set of considerations. Their stated reasons were very different, one had notable mental health issues because of childhood trama, the other was a borderline sexual predator. The one dealing with trama didn't work on or even bother to address the trama, and the other went all in on sexual deviation. All that to highlight, even in said situation, the reasoning is a kaleidoscope of unrelated who knows what.

Thanks for this video and for your work to infuriate people . Sorry for my bad English.... I just speak French and little English so I try to write a comment correctly, but.... This man or trin woman is so merveilleux to be honest and to confront herself with his old traumas for being conscient person what about the sex. Thanks to her for this témoignage, so precious.

It is VERY sad that now a young child can decide what gender they decide to be and with many who are getting a lot of money with medications they give a young teenager plus surgeries throughout the their own greed and indoctrination that this is ok and far from it. How SAD when others then say this has worsened my life even more than what they felt prior plus their body. Yes, in the past most transgender people are good still because the process was SLOWER with more counseling, listening to the person and their past, etc. Of course a few still as they age from this much more sane past have regrets yet much less people than now. Heart breaking all around and another great video Arielle and thank you for your testimony on this for yourself and I hope you find some sense of peace, and yes very tragic for Jaz plus all people who are suffering now even more so than before each person started on this path. ❤.
