Exactly this! Meanwhile other parents are dressing their 5 year olds as the opposite gender so that they can film it and put it on the internet claiming it’s their child’s identity. Not even giving the child a chance to figure it out for themselves, and those videos could really embarrass these children when they get older. 😢

In my school i had a really attrative teacher in biology. Nothing more to say! It was somethimes frustating and i wished that this never happen again and my little friend fall up. When i think now with 47 back to this time i think this beautiful and really attractive teacher was this frustating time worth it. :) Silly and crazy i know. :)

@@CombativeMedic while it's obvious that social media has played a very important part in all of this, the biggest culprit continues to be the government. Why? Because through many layers of bureaucracy it has limited the way parents influence their own children's lives and instead has given hordes of bureaucrats and "educators" that role. This is a direct result of those policies.

And this is what allows the TRAs to claim that detransitioners are only a tiny percentage of people who transition. When someone does detransition, they're tossed aside and no records are made of the detransition. Their very existence is denied. Sometimes in studies you'll see "lost to follow-up" and these supposed "lost" cases are very often the detransitioners they're hiding. They've not been "lost", they've been "tossed".

I am so glad to be Gen-x and to have grown up when I did. I was a huge tomboy. I hated everything about being a girl that other girls loved. I didn't like dresses, makeup, bras, heels, nail polish, none of it. Even my own mother used to say that I should've been born a boy. I felt so out of place with the other girls. When I hit puberty, it became worse because I developed early, and that got me attention from the boys that I didn't want. Now, I'm glad to be a woman. I grew up and realized that having masculine traits and interests does not make you a boy, just like a guy having feminine traits and interests does not make him a girl. This stuff scares me because I know how suseptible I would've been to it as a kid. I know there's some kid out there right now who is just like how I was, and I don't want them to be misled. I want them to accept themselves for who they are. No one is born having it all figured out. Most of us adults don't truly know who we are till we're in our 30s. I wish these kids would just slow down. A child should never be making irreversible decisions.

Ironically GenZ's parents are mostly GenX. Also usually come from middle class white, urban or suburban families. It's basically their version of emo and getting tattoos and piercings to rebel against their parents and social norms. The whole "It's not a phase mom and dad!" and it's gonna be interesting how it'll go like 5 years from now when Gen Alpha gets in high school and college. Also see what weird trend they do. Happens every generation, flappers, hippies, grunge, emo, and nonbinary. I already know several who did it in high school and now grown out of it.. It's the adults who take it seriously that are more concerning.

One statement can wrap this whole conversation up: "People don't dislike you because you're trans..... you're trans because people dislike you." This is what creates the illusion of the former. It's subconciously deliberate and a defense mechanism. They can't just be disliked, so they find a way to be disliked for something OTHER than their unlikeable disposition. Which is a creative little way of forcing you to accept them and their weird personalities... It's why we constantly hear "transphobia" and "homophobia"... even if they feel "attacked" for something completely unrelated to their trans identity. I think a part of them needs to be disliked for their transness, and that's what makes them so passionate about it... it's so much easier to believe this reality, so they do. To find a way to believe that everyone would like you... simply if you werent trans would be such a relief. There will never be a time that they WON'T feel opressed because they need to feel "hated" for this mindset to work. Now it's no longer their problem, it's yours. Funny how that works. 🙄 (This is for the trenders... not real trans people btw...)

could also be that they don't have a huge "personality flaw" (cruelty, arrogance, etc) but are just autistic or have adhd and that makes them stand out a bit. kids are ruthless when it comes to social norms. I (presumably adhd and on the list for autism testing) was always "normal" enough (didn't talk or look weird) to fit in at the start but soon I would become ostrasized bc of my "weirdness" - which was my intense interest in horses (like...scientifically as well). I just walked to school and drew horses or had a horse sweater on. I was an 11 year old girl. I never bothered anyone with it. boy I tell you I got BUTCHERED only for that. And then more things, like I didn't speak with a dialect, I looked pretty childish while the girls started to look more teen, I had no interest in twilight and I hit back when people started attacking me. I got my first de*th threat at 12yo. No wonder I was socially awkward, and I sometimes wonder whether I'd be some fantasy creation nowadays as well.

I knew this guy who is clearly on the spectrum (undiagnosed) who found an unsuspecting younger woman to care for him immediately after his mother died. After 13 years of marriage during which he never held down a job and bounced from one obsession to the next he decided he was trans. He no longer had to be a middle aged loser white guy without any oppression points…now he had a victim category. When he “came out” to his wife (during their anniversary dinner!) her honest reaction was “And how much is THIS going to cost!?!). She finally divorced him which allowed him to run around town telling anyone who would listen that his wife was divorcing him because he’s trans (not because he was a loser deadbeat.)

One of the most common co-morbidities is OCD. Which makes so much sense. But OCD is portrayed on tv as needing to wash your hands repeatedly or the rituals like needing to lock the door a specific way. But it’s really about intrusive thoughts so it makes a lot of sense for these to go together. And if a therapist is treating someone for both conditions and not considering the gender dysphoric thoughts as intrusive and part of OCD, they are doing so much damage to that patient.
@youtubeposter3814
@youtubeposter3814 26 күн бұрын
I hate the whole “If you’re always questioning if you’re trans, you probably are!” because T-OCD (transgender OCD) is the constant and intensely unnerving preoccupation with wondering if you are trans. Homosexual OCD exists as well. OCD is much more likely to be present when other disorders are present such as bipolar disorder, borderline PD, OCD disorders (ex. excoriation disorder), Major Depression, and Anxiety disorders.

Intrusive Thought Disorder OCD is brutal. It can literally make you convince yourself of anything - that you're possessed, evil, will "lose control" & do "something bad." (You won't). It will convince you of whatever will make you most miserable, in my experience. So most people don't share their intrusive thoughts, even with therapists, as they tend to be incredibly disturbing. So if these people have more intrusive thoughts, they likely aren't sharing, so the therapists just think trans.

It made me think of Anne of Green Gables if you've ever read that or seen that. Anne would always imagine she was someone else. Or she had friends in mirrors. Because of the horrendous upbringing she had. She imagined she had black hair, that her name was Cordilia. And that she was beautiful. She turned out to be the most intelligent person in the class despite the fact that she had no education. But of course as a young girl she was envious of people who were considered better looking and of boys who got a better deal. Now of course it's a very old fashioned book but it makes sense. People are too often indulged in their imagination these days.

Puberty blocker actually is reversible. Puberty isn't and hormones isn't. Not fully at least. It's funny they call puberty blocker experimental when used on trans kids, but when used on cis kids it's not a problem. It's been used for years on cisgender kids who start puberty too early to slow it down to an age closer to where it should be to not develop too early. It's other medical reasons to use it too. Puberty blocker doesn't make people trans. It just pause a process. Which shouldn't be done for too long either.

As a mom and an elementary school teacher, I am horrified. Teachers should have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with their students’ gender identity, sexual preference, or anything else in that realm. When my 6th grade students started asking me about my sexual preferences, like they were asking about the weather, I was done - and moved to a lower grade level. Not out of judgment, but as a way to protect myself from potential problems/accusations/lawsuits. Lord knows teachers can barely afford rent. Being sued would mean the end of everything. Don’t misunderstand. I’m not opposed to freedom of choice or freedom of expression, or anything else in that area. HOWEVER, until a child is 18, that is a road only to be traveled by the parents!

I don't think about gender much. But then it wasn't forced on me as a child. Some parents really enforce gender roles. Maybe that's part of the issue. I just think. I'm female so girl and then woman. That's the way it has always been. I don't think about it much in concerning to me. Because I don't have any issues with it. Must be weird obsessing over it. Or especially having gender dysphoria. As for being gay I definitely struggled with that. So if someone is genuinely gender confused or whatever I sympathise. But I don't understand myself. And as for someone who thinks it's funny or a trend to be 50 genders. They can GTF.

My older sister tells me her friends consider her non binary. She is a smart, nerdy girl into anime, drawing, and being very artsy. They consider her to be very gender non-conforming and she started talking about how she’s not like other girls because she grew up as a tomboy (which didn’t happen) and how she doesn’t conform to her role as a woman… it’s wild to hear this from a 27 year old. When in fact, she is very unique but is not the super gender non-conformist she acts like. She’s just a straight white woman who hated the suburbs for being too conservative for her. She says that she doesn’t conform to her gender because she doesn’t think like girl or consider womanhood to be a part of her identity

For me, I've always been male, but the way I've felt in my head, I've never connected to the concept of masculinity or how wider society views it. It's not about my interests or wanting to reject a role because of conservatives in the suburbs, it's just who I feel I am. I can't think of myself as a "man" or fully masculine. It's not a bad thing to identify as nonbinary or anything else btw. It's just an identity. @@criedthekid I am explaining how if there was never that influence of her piers she wouldn’t have ever come up with that identity. I am quite the feminine male and I work in the beauty industry. Very non-conforming for my gender. I have masculine traits but an equally feminine side. But being masculine or feminine doesn’t change anything about my gender identity. It’s just a feature of me and how I express myself. Non binary is just an identity, not a gender. And you are free to identify as you please but society doesn’t have to recognize that as a real thing. I shouldn’t have to participate in pretending these identities are actually genders. As someone who is in touch with his feminine side I find it beautiful that I can be a confident man that doesn’t define my gender by my interests or feminine expression. People have assumed me to be non-binary because of my expression and I dislike that because a man can do makeup and beauty practices and still be a dude. I was drawn to friends in the lgbt community because they were accepting of my differences from other men but now the community tells me that my non-conformity makes me less of a male.

Okay, I had to comment in the middle of the video. When that Kid start talking about TikTok I got flash back. truth is, I am actually a black woman. Years ago, when I was younger, I installed TikTok because I wanted to follow my favorite creators from the Caribbean. It was something I can relate to and it was funny. But after scrolling through just comedy about my black/caribbean culture, suddenly I was shown videos of Black individuals from the U.S. COMPLAINING ABOUT RACE. At first I was confused, so I ignored those videos and continued to heart/like the playful funny videos in the hope the system would see that I like to engage with funny videos from the Caribbean. But I still continued to get videos about Hating WHITE people. All of these were not related to me in the slightest. I am not from the U.S., but I am aware of the race politics. All I knew is started to put two and two together. Tiktok for some odd reason knows I am a black individual but continues to feed my videos of racism. These videos were literally saying why we should hate white folks, why we should stick together, why we should change the system, and as a young BLACK woman, I am sitting in my country jamaica wondering WHY WHY WHY TIKTOK wants to FEED me this garbage. I SHOWED ZERO INTEREST in watching these videos. ZERO. After that, I uninstalled the app. I was convinced that TIKTOK wants to push ideas upon me. Because how can a system after liking the 100th video about Caribbean tiktokers with ZERO racism in ANY of their skits because its about US Caribbean folks still think I want to listen to some black American woman telling me how much she hates her college because most people there are WHITE.

It's entirely possible that my sexuality was affected by this literature, and while I'm comfortable with that part of myself, I'm also concerned that a lot of the pop culture kids get their hands on may affect their sexuality and their gender identity. As Arielle and the girl she interviewed said, there's pressure and a power dynamic in schools and other institutions to transition kids as young as possible. Nobody likes going through puberty but sadly instead of telling kids it’ll get better in a few years and your body naturally goes through changes so you can grow and mature, they’re being encouraged by the adults in their lives to forever alter and damage their bodies. What really sucks is young people want to ‘identify’ as 🏳️‍🌈 because they see it as a cool kids club and don’t recognise the actual battles we’ve had to endure for basic equal rights, how for us ‘old’ 🏳️‍🌈 it was about finding people like ourselves with similar lived experiences who would understand what oppression we’d faced. It was NEVER a cool kids club, but that’s how a lot of young people today see it as, and it’s just rage inducing honestly. Also I went through puberty at a young age way before my friends (I think 7 I was developing breasts, menstruation started at 8), I hated the experience but understood the way older men stared at me was never my fault, that they were sick to see a literal child in that manner (I’m autistic, maybe why I had that view when young), the good part about young puberty for me was being able to be there for my female friends when they developed, I finally had someone to talk to and they had someone to support them as they went through those struggles, I ended up being the defacto ‘mom’ for the girls in my year because they knew I offered support and never judgment, where I’d happily ask embarrassing questions, go to the nurses office for sanitary products, or go to the bathrooms and hang out whilst they de-stressed. Nobody enjoys puberty, but it’s so vital to growing up healthy!!!

Under "reasons", you neglected to mention how much MONEY there is to be made from convincing kids that they are trans. Once doctors realized that little gem, they kicked the transition door wide open.

I like your distinguishing between the three causes, sexual trauma, mental illness and true dysphoria. Each should have different treatment protocols. But one other helpful thing is to recognize the influence of Marxist revolutionaries on society. They care nothing for young people in trauma. What they see is that as long as capitalism creates wealth and choices and comfortable lifestyles, they will never be able to sell their socialist utopian schemes. So they have to tear down society before they can swoop in with their authoritarian solutions. They work to break down the gender binary, the patriarchical family, meritocracy, competition, and the free market system to this end. I'm happy if adults with real gender dysphoria want to transition. Especially if I am not forced to pay for it. But promoting transitioning to kids who don't need it is seriously a human rights violation.

When I first got my period, I was devastated, I wanted to hide and I did not want to be female. I wanted it gone. I would have easily gone into non-binary/trans label if they were available back then. It took me at least a few years or so to be comfortable in my own skin. Let children be, puberty is confusing enough.

Hi Arielle, thank you for this video! As an aspiring educator, I’ve observed firsthand how some teachers approach topics of gender identity with their students. During one of my observation sessions, I saw a middle school English teacher respond to a student saying, “I think I might be nonbinary,” by affirming them and asking for their pronouns. While I believe it's important for teachers to create a supportive environment for all students, I also feel it’s crucial that we don't push any particular ideology onto young minds. In my future role, I hope to approach this topic with balance and sensitivity, ensuring that all students feel respected without promoting any one viewpoint. There are educators out there who share a more conservative approach (like myself) and are working to maintain a more neutral stance on these issues! Thank you for sharing the girl’s story! I think it’s important for everyone to see and hear.

I’m so worried for the number of young people who are confused about their gender identity. The people pushing this, claim that these kids would have been trans no matter what in past history, they just couldn’t come out... That’s not true. Yes _SOME_ people have gender dysphoria. But these numbers of young people who think their trans is unprecedented. It’s dangerous to excessively expose this stuff to young naive people who want to feel special and accepted.

Thank you for your articulate video. There is a saying: "There are no failures, only feedback." Generally, this adage reframes mistakes to learning lessons. When it comes to chemically and surgically altering the body and, subsequently, life ever after, that's a horrendous lesson for anyone to suffer. Suicide rates for young people, especially females, has sky-rocketed following covid. If the energy being spent promoting trans ideology was directed toward improving mental health resources for kids, perhaps there would be different, better results. We try to protect children in many ways - child proof prescription bottles, safety standards for car seats and mini-blinds, non-toxic paint, minimum age laws about sales of tobacco, alcohol, tattooing, and R-rated video games, driving a vehicle, etc... This is because a child's brain is not fully developed, specifically the prefrontal cortex where risk assessment and advanced cognitive processing occurs. Kids (includes teens) NEED adults to protect them. Where are the guardians of the children in our culture?

Trying to find a "Fix" in this matter comes with learning the basics in biology and human development and then having a conversation with an individual that needs to be tailored made to them. Look up Erickson's psychosocial stages, from 12 to 18 people go through identity versus confusion where do I fit in? I've figured out some things I'm good at but how do I use these to interact in a group and make friends or relationships?. There is a lot of hit and miss during this time where we mess up but if we go through the stage well enough we come out with a bit of fidelity and the beginning of our authentic self. We can be easily influenced during this time, did we forget Peer Group pressure is still a thing? Think about all those little niches in high school, the goths, the nerds/geeks, jocks etc. This is the basics now add all this stuff on the top along with people overthinking the welfare of children and their "happiness" Choosing freedom over safety is something that should be reserved for adults who have figured enough of themselves out to not cause terrible damage to themselves.

I could not teach jr high/high school with this craziness being so rampant, and I am continually thankful that I live in a red state with an overall red community. 1:10 this right here is something I've been saying. When I was a younger teenager, I started realizing I was bisexual or at the very least liked women romantically. But along with this realization there was also shame, I felt awkward and uncomfortable being a woman liking a woman, so I thought I should be a man instead. There came a phase where I thought I was trans for a while. I also have severe body dysmorphia and hated my body, I thought I wasn't "pretty enough" to be a woman. I have autism and felt like I didn't "fit in" with other women. And I ALSO have borderline personality disorder, which that alone caused severe shifts in identity. Notice how all of these things can look like gender dysphoria. These kids likely need actual help, not to be told they are "born in the wrong body."

The last story about the man starting puberty blockers at such a young ages honestly made me cry. Not just because it's such a hard story but because I relate to some extent. I'm a gay man and often I feel other men don't respect me because of my sexuality. People like my brothers and my father know I'm gay and I fear they don't see me as a real man. I remember when I first told my father I'm gay and while he didn't respond in a harsh way, afterwards he stopped asking me for help on projects around the house and asked my little brother instead. I wish I could give that guy a hug. I see you as a man and f*** anyone who discredits another person because they came down a different path than them.

I got this deep, dark anxiety watching her. I was in phychiatric ward as a teenager, some girls there, I made friends with, were routinely raped as children in religious demonitions for example. Severely psychologically disturbed young women. There is no limit on how these kind of hurt girls will mutilate their bodies. The one routinely raped openly expressed desire to be a boy. (Now over 12 years later she's a mother and married to a man.) This girl in red shorts... She's all female, you can see it in her face and eyes beyond body. No maleness whatsoever in her. But there is that severe disturbance in the eyes. And what she had done to her body.... Unlike in the past, the society will now cut your breasts off for you, which is more disturbing a thought to me that can put into words.

I transitioned over 10 years ago and have never been happier. I now live my happiest life happily as the person I was born to be. I feel like you have lately switched to a lot of things talking negatively about trans people and the comment sections follow suit. I think it’s important for people to be sure about what they want to do before taking hormones but funny thing is in these huge online support groups there is a high amount of people like me who have transitioned years and years ago and couldn’t imagine any other way. I would be dead right now if I didn’t, I was heading that way because of so much self hate with the disconnection with my body. Think what you want, I am grateful to be alive and happy and live a normal life. I will probably unfollow this channel after so many years not because of this video but because of the general context of your videos recently and the tone you put on talking about trans people.
