Hello..thank you for sharing your knowledge. Could you please explain as to what would be the role of an acquirer bank in case of payment facilitator model if the funding is carried out by the payment facilitator itself? Is it just limited to holding of an account for the merchant? Which would further imply another clearing and settlement between the facilitator and acquirer as well? TIA for your response.

Hi, Acquirer is responsible for the activities of PF (from an Acquirer compliance and regulatory perspective). PF receives the settlement from the Acquirer and settles to Merchant.

Hello. May I know then what is the need for the additional actor... I imply the PF... when acquirer itself can transfer funds to the merchant... Or is it mandatory to have a PF/PA/ISO?

Amit, What do you mean by credit limit, the amount of CC or DC payments that a merchant can accept at a set frequency ? Say a 100K worth card payments ?
