Hats off to you. Taking that journey alone sounds daunting enough, let alone being brave enough to open up your engine while doing so. Awesome ride along. Thanks for sharing.

First word that comes to mind...WOW! You're adventure has reeled me in..and taught me a lot about what I don't know, and possibly shouldn't even attempt. That being said, at my age, I really shouldn't consider riding this route alone. I offered my daughter in law her own bike if she would ride the entire route with me, since my son is leaving for boot camp the end of the month. Alternatively, you seem to have a fair grasp of the mechanics of the bike, and now a thorough knowledge of the route. What sort of fee do you think you would accept to me my guide? I'll cover all your costs in regards to fuel, hotels and food. Seriously, this video really opened my eyes to the possibilities, not to mention a real look at the terrain and challenges! Let me know your thoughts on another TAT Experience😎

This is a fun video for me. Iv'e been in that area,,, never on a bike. I got my CT125 about 5 months ago. I have just over 3,000 miles on her. I live in The Ozarks, Arkansas, Middle of Nowhere! SO much fun.

It the perfect adventure bike IMO! Hard to get into any trouble with it.

I have land in AZ with a road running through it. I have it gated and marked 'no trespassing - stay on road' . Just open (and close) the gate, ride through and don't get off the road. No problem and it doesn't 'piss me off' to see people driving through. Nice job with the transmission! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the trip. 👍

Thanks! Yes, I figured I wouldn't be the first person doing this and made sure to leave it like I found it.

Great video's, thanks. good to see what your achieving. Please slow down your pan while filming or in post. very hard to watch.
@anygiventrail2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! And I would, but I’m not focusing much on my camera work while riding as I have to focus on the terrain, and only pan when I’m looking myself at the landscape. Just the drawbacks of filming while riding!

@@anygiventrail Your riding footage is great, but the pans while you're stopped would be easier on the eyes if they were slowwwwer, and I'd get a better look at the view. Ah a video I uploaded made my eyes tired, pretty much gave me a headache, and I found the KZbin stabilization feature and after I did that the video was much smoother. Thanks, I'm enjoying your videos! What beautiful scenery.

Well, be grateful you came down that "very very rough" pass as opposed to up it. Would the trail have made it up?

Very good video! Really get the feeling of being there! Only suggestion would be to install a good microphone in your helmet but not a big deal. Keep up the good work!

That happened to me riding my xr650. I wiped out and totally crushed my chest. My ribs were all broken. Then I had to lift the pig up to ride out. It was complete hell. It took my 5 months to recover from that 😔

😂 found your video looking for Trail125 content. Beautiful trip. But jeez if videos like these don’t just sell these little bikes for Honda. You can’t ask for a better stamp of approval than “literally went coast to coast in 1 trip and didn’t break a sweat”.

Wouldn't mind if Honda asked me to test out new Tiny motos in the future :)

Nice man. A friend and I just rode our trails cross country and back in july/august. We stuck to all roads though. Both bikes were mine, 86 110 and a CT125. Both bikes did fine. Biggest failure on the 125 was the center stand welds started splitting apart and other than that no issues with the 125, just consumables. It was loaded far heavier than yours. 86' was burning about a quart of oil every 300 miles by the end of it. I was carrying a gallon. Still ran strong as ever though. You diddnt happen to stop at rocky mountain ATV while you were south of salt lake did you?

I did not, I headed west from Nephi and then went up around Tooele into SLC. Did you guys go there? Do you have any videos from your trip?

Looks like a shinko 241 up front ? How is it? Just put one up front on my dr200. Dunlop d605 on back. Cheers

I really liked the Shinkos! Yes, 241s on both front and rear to start the trip. I'll put them on again.

How’s the air up that high? I know that’s a stupid question but I ask because I want to also do what you’re doing only I have a Honda Monkey to do it on. I also have a slight lung issue thanks to Covid. I hear tell of people becoming sick due to altitude. Great video and here’s to you for having the guts to take a journey like that!!
@anygiventrail Жыл бұрын
It wasn't so bad! You're not up high for too long, so I don't think it was enough time to cause sickness for me. I also lived in Montana at the time, and was a bit used to those elevations. A trip like that on the Monkey would be awesome. You could find ways to avoid the passes and stick to tarmac.

Great videos, one tip is try to equalize the sound, the music tends to drown out your voice in some bits.
@anygiventrail2 жыл бұрын
Any talking I’m doing that’s covered up by music was also not possible to hear clearly due to wind noise on my GoPro mic, so it was of no value to listen to anyway.
