You should stick a sticker on the back of your furniture with a QR code that takes you to a video on KZbin of that piece of furniture being renovated. So over the years withnew owners of the furniture even 50 years from now will see your video and see you refinishing it. I just think it is a nice idea someone in 50 years might come across the QR code scan it then watch it.

Those holes in the ends of the table apron are for “Dutch Leaves” which extend the size of the table very elegantly with a simple angled support. My Mom’s Danish Modern dining table has them. I will be refinishing that 50 year old table with Odie’s Oil inspired by your work.

Oh is that how they are called? That's a cool bit of information for a Dutchie like me. As far as I know we do not have a specific name for them. Then again, you hardly see them nowadays. Personally I have an extendable table with a piece folded in the middle, between the two halve circles. My grandma's had tables where the leaves would be stored under the top, you would just pull them out. Never gave a thought about the mechanics of it!

What you said about maintenance and care giving it a long life rings true. Even the teak coffee table that is more like 60 years old (and went to my first college house with me) is still in good shape because of teak oil and care.

Your talent continues to blow me away!!🤯 As I said on your community post, if anyone can do it, it’s you and BOOM! This table is STUNNING, Angie. And while the shades of the individual pieces all looked so different when they were separate, they don’t as one piece. So I have an idea, you need to start selling “gear” with your logo on it and the first item, coasters! Then with every table, nightstand, or basically anything with a top that you sell, you give a set of two or four to the buyer. Seriously though, I’d totally buy a mug with your logo on it.💜
