I could easily play a lot louder (and better) on trombone, and I have a $100 beginners trombone. I'd switch, but tuba seems right for me

the general idea is to take in less mouthpiece on a low Bb (or any low note really) and drop your jaw a bit and kinda play around with where your tongue should be and see what crazy high overtones there are to hit. another helpful video might be a video by "earspasm music" called "harmonic glissando," he does it on bass clarinet but it's the same idea for bari
